AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #DISCOVER I 2025/2026 - Starting date March 3rd 2025.
We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector.The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (#DISCOVER) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to DISCOVER the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early March 2025, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Internship Job Description:
In this project, you will be part of a team to develop a full new assembly line in Section 19 of A350 program. A350 is the most modern and innovative Aircraft of Airbus, with a high % of its structure made of carbon fiber composite material. Section 19 is the rear fuselage section, just after the pressurized area of the fuselage.
This new line to be developed is key to ensure future ramp ups and deliveries to airlines, and a new assembly technology will be used to develop the process.
This new technology is a highly innovative product, never before used in assembly processes or in any other industry, and will be a game changer in the future of aerostructure assembly processes allowing high savings.
You will get familiar with this technology and will directly contribute to define the process, the tests to be carried out before entry into production, the project planning and the estimation of different figures of merit related to this technology.
Additionally, as part of the industrialization team, you will develop a tool to estimate the industrial means required in a new line. This activity is key to estimate costs and delivery times of industrial items, and reduce the risks of overcost or delay in the entry into production.
Thus, you will acquire a general knowledge of assembly processes, industrialization concept, full assembly lines design and estimation, technology developments and aeronautic industry. These kind of profiles are very rare nowadays, and will be very demanded in the near future for new developments in the aerospace industry, so do not hesitate to join us!
The entire internship will take place in a production building, close to the assembly lines so workshop experience is another valuable experience you will get as the successful candidate.

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Degree in Engineering field (industrial, aerospace, mechanics preferred but not limited).
- English: negotiation level.
- Spanish: negotiation level.
- General knowledge in engineering, carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), lean manufacturing.
- Skills valued: manufacturing processes, 3D software design, production systems, CATIA.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit and great collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in complex and international environments.
