WE’RE LOOKING FOR A DIGITAL BUSINESS ANALYST

Location: FORT ERIE, ON

Position Summary:

The Digital Business Analyst is responsible for coordinating, managing & executing AHCA’s (Airbus Helicopters Canada) Digital application activity. The incumbent will collect AHCA business requirements, support AHCA business lines to formalize their needs and ensure end to end project implementation in line with the AIRBUS Operating Model and Standard. The Digital Business Analyst will act as the first Digital focal point for local AHCA Business requests and the first point of escalation for incident and problem resolution in collaboration with the AHCA Site Relationship Manager.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

Digital Site Relationship management :

  • Ensure that all Digital local tasks are executed in compliance with Digital North America processes and procedures.
  • Represents Digital and promotes its vision, values, services, and capabilities
  • Serve as first point of escalation for all local Digital related issues
  • Serve as first point of local Digital request
  • Manage IM top incidents, problems and their mitigation plans, etc.
  • Manage purchase request for local Digital service
  • Support Digital activity to deliver proper level of service according to SLA/SLO established with the business functions
  • First point of contact Responsible for Local IM team members


Projects:

  • Analyze and oversee business functions end-to-end processes (Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, etc.)
  • Gather and describe local business functions, needs and requirements.
  • Support local businesses to express their needs and requirements following the Digital methodology.
  • Act as a local relay for Digital projects driven by remote project managers.
  • Manage and implement Digital solution following organization project methodology.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet functional expectations.
  • Drumbeat change activity the implementation of SAP change through the tools used by Digital
  • Participate in regular meetings with the AHCA businesses to follow the SAP Requests.
  • Maintain a backlog of work with clear priorities agreed with the respective business stakeholders
  • Support local Digital activities and manage the associated demand
  • Support Plant Demand Priorities compilation for IM PSLs to provide a local and consistent view of the IM products and/or services being used and their roadmap
  • Manage regular meetings with business management to provide update on ongoing projects and gather new needs
  • Collect and Coordinate local Business needs and address to the relevant PSL
  • Responsible for the roll-out of Group IM-supported processes, programs, information systems for Industrial Solutions Product/Service
  • Drive continuous improvement of all products and services within the Industrial Solutions Product/Service, in all aspects (financial, user experience, efficiency, effectiveness, simplification, technical performance, cyber security, resilience, obsolescence etc.) and across the full application lifecycle (design, build, run)
  • Overall accountability on the performance (delivery, costs, people management and well-being) of the related product teams. Product scope is end-to-end (Design / Build / Run)
  • Enables an optimum relay between the strategic decisions and commitments taken at IM Leadership Team and Business counterpart(s) along with the execution of these decisions and commitments at product level teams, the heart of IM value creation and delivery


Position Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience


Experience:

  • 6 years of experience in project management, application design, development and/or support with either SAP Modules (PP, QM, PM, MM, SD, FI, CO) within a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Understanding of Airbus IM standards, project and services methodologies and procedures
  • Knowledge of IT supplier landscape in North America considered an asset


Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:

  • Knowledge in the Industry area: manufacturing, shop floor, FAL, supply chain, logistics,
  • Knowledge in software solutions such as SAP, Analytics, Manufacturing
  • Experience in working with multicultural teams
  • Strong Customer service orientation
  • Ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • Proven analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Able to work closely and effectively with all levels of business and IM management
  • Recognizes, and focuses department on, high priority objectives
  • Holds people accountable for results
  • Inspires trust, demonstrates flexibility, encourages frequent open communications and welcomes feedback
