Job Description
Job Description:
Job Description:
This work encompasses the testing and analysis of high-frequency waveguide and coaxial transmission lines. The student will assist in creating a test platform, perform RF measurements, and implement time-domain analysis code for the study of transmission-line fault detection. Matlab code will be used to apply FFT/IFFT algorithms for the signal analysis and reflectometry. The student will have the chance to learn about high-frequency components and theory while applying signal-analysis theory to develop a robust fault detection program.
Your Tasks:
- Test high-frequency transmission lines for fault detection
- Analyze RF signal data
- Create a test-plan for fault-detection scenarios
- Program and implement their own time-domain software solutions (Matlab or C).
- Write test reports and associated documents
Your qualifications:
- Enrolled student in the field of radio frequency engineering, electrical engineering/computer technology, signal analysis, or mathematics or comparable courses of study
- Knowledge of programming languages, frequency & time domain mathematics, or high-frequency technology are an advantage
- General knowledge of electrical engineering/information technology desirable
- Good German and good written and spoken English skills are prerequisites
- Commitment and independent work in a communicative team are a matter of course
