Job Description:

-Define ad-hoc development assurance level with regard to development risk.

-Define system development logic consistent with development assurance level.

-Elicit and validate system/product requirements whilst considering the complete system lifecycle.

-Design and define possible architectures considering the functions and other requirements (constraints).

-Lead system modelling using appropriate modelling methods and tools.

-Lead analysis (Analysis of characteristics and performance).

-Perform trade-off analysis in order to select the best system architecture fulfilling system/product requirements.

-Validate architecture (using for example virtual integration techniques as necessary).

-Define and manage interfaces requirements.

-Lead verification of the system/product implementation and its interfaces, on the real or virtual system.

-Lead operational and in-service evaluation -lead impact analysis of any design change request during the entire product lifecycle.

MISSION:

Be responsible for the technical coherency of NH90 Avionics Systems for the Spanish versions. Be responsible to set up the variant specific avionic systems problem lists for flight clearances and qualification, and to present and explain the problems in front of officials (supported by the different subsystem design responsible as required) Have the rights to decide technical issues together with the Project organization subsystem design responsible for solving overall Avionics System problems for the Helicopter variants.

TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The jobholder shall take the following main tasks:

  • Work packages management/coordination (cost control, booking control, Earn Value Management, reporting to Project, etc…)
  • Interface between System Engineering team in AH -France-, AHD -Germany- and AHE-Spain-
  • Organize and verify the Avionic System baselines and reviews
  • Preparation and support of qualification and certification activities (Qualification logic, Procedures and reports)
  • Support to Verification Engineer activities in front of Spanish authorities
  • Maintaining of Reporting Tool database (Avionics PR level). PR analysis and solving for appropriate level
  • Support to HMI, Subsystems Engineering and SRS support preparation for avionics functions
  • Performing of Problem Filter Board and participation to System Change Board / DashBoard.
  • Support to sub-system specification, integration and qualification
  • Support of coordination of integration and qualification activities for appropriate level (Rig and HC)
  • Support to integration and qualification activities for appropriate level (Rig and HC)

This role may involve some travel for business to Germany (mainly) and France (occasionally); as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
