Être stagiaire chez ATR, c’est être intégré au sein d’une équipe comme un membre à part entière avec un véritable périmètre d’intervention et des responsabilités.

Au sein du département d’ingénierie « E », le service « ESM » est en charge d’assurer le suivi technique des modifications de la structure avion.

C’est dans ce contexte que on souhaite développer une amélioration du design du seuil d’entrée (‘’Folding Step‘’) de la porte passager.

Dans le détail, la/le stagiaire devra porter sa contribution pour :

  • Identifier le besoin éventuel de renforcer la structure, en prenant en compte les retours en service,
  • Améliorer l’ergonomie de l’ensemble, en assurant le maximum de confort pour les passagers (en montant et en descendant),
  • Améliorer et simplifier la maintenance en service de cette installation.

Dans le cadre de ce développement vous devrez :

Phase 1 :

  • Faire un test sur un avion pour mesurer les charges sur la marche,
  • Corréler les résultats du test avec les charges utilisées pour le dimensionnement,
  • Identifier les solutions de design pour éventuellement renforcer cette installation.

Phase 2 :

  • Identifier les solutions design visant à améliorer l’ergonomie générale et le confort des passagers,
  • Analyser les feedbacks des compagnies aériennes pour proposer des solutions techniques avec la finalité d’améliorer la maintenabilité et la tenue à l’usure de la marche.

Phase 3 :

  • Sélectionner les solutions techniques plus adaptées, en tenant en compte les contraintes typiques de l’industrie aéronautique : coûts, impact industriel, temps, qualité, poids, maintenabilité.
  • Préparer le document qui sert à lancer le processus de Modification de cette installation (ID card de la MOD)

Ce stage est fait pour vous:

  • Formation BAC + 5 : Ecole d’ingénieur orientée mécanique. La connaissance de la structure avion et des processus aéronautiques est souhaitée.
  • La connaissance basique des méthodes de calculs statique et fatigue est requise.
  • Bon relationnel, proactivité, esprit de synthèse, autonomie, rigueur, curiosité technique,
  • Compétence informatique : maitrise de la Suite Office, software design (CATIA).
  • Français et Anglais avancés (écrit et orale).
  • Capacité de planification et de coordination de toutes les parties prenantes du projet.

Within the engineering department “E”, the service “ESM” is responsible for ensuring the technical follow-up of aircraft structural modification.

In this context, we aim to develop an improved design for the entry sill (“Folding step”) of the passenger door.

In more detail, the trainee will have to contribute to:

  • Identify the need to strengthen the structure considering the in-service feedback,
  • Improve the ergonomics of the assembly, ensuring the maximum comfort for the passengers,
  • Improve and simplify the in-service maintenance of this installation.

Within the framework of this development, you will be asked to:

Phase 1:

  • Perform a test on aircraft to measure the loads on the folding step,
  • Correlate the test results with the loads used for the stress analysis,
  • Identify the design solution to eventually strengthen this installation.

Phase 2:

  • Identify the design solutions to improve the ergonomics and the passenger comfort,
  • Analyze the customers feedback to propose technical solution aiming at improving the maintainability and the resistance to wear of the folding step.

Phase 3:

  • Select the most suitable technical solutions, considering the typical aeronautical industrial constraints such as: costs, industrial impact, time, quality, weight, maintainability,
  • Prepare the document to launch the modification process of the part/parts (ID card of MOD)

This internship is made for you:

  • Master’s Degree (BAC+5) in mechanical engineering. The knowledge of aircraft structure and aeronautical processes is required.
  • The knowledge of basic methods of static and fatigue stress analysis is necessary.
  • Soft skills: Good interpersonal skills, proactivity, ability to summarize, autonomy, rigour, technical curiosity.
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office, CATIA.
  • Language skills: Proficient in spoken and written French and English
  • Ability to plan and coordinate between all the relevant stakeholders of the project.
