Être stagiaire chez ATR, c’est être intégré au sein d’une équipe comme un membre à part entière avec un véritable périmètre d’intervention et des responsabilités.

Dans le cadre de futurs développements pour un avion plus vert, plus silencieux et plus sûr, ATR veut améliorer les capacités de modélisation de l’aérodynamique des hélices, mieux évaluer d’efficacité de la propulsion, l’effet du souffle hélice sur l’ensemble de l’avion et les charges 1-P associées. Plusieurs techniques sont disponibles pour simuler les hélices, plus ou moins réalistes et complexes, le stagiaire évaluera en particulier des méthodes d’aérodynamique instationnaire rapide. Cela donnera à ATR un outil robuste pour trouver le meilleur compromis pour le challenge de l’aviation plus écologique du futur.

Missions proposées :

  • Etat de l’art de la modélisation CFD des hélices
  • Modélisation sur différents cas tests
  • Comparaison avec les essais en soufflerie et les essais en vol disponibles
  • Conséquences sur les qualités de vol, les performances et les charges
  • Evaluation des capacités aéro-accoustiques
  • Avantages, inconvénients et limitations de chaque type de modélisation

Ce stage est fait pour vous:

  • Dernière année d’école d’ingénieur aéronautique, spécialité aérodynamique (ISAE ...)
  • Aérodynamique, CFD, Qualités de vol, Performances
  • Autonomie, esprit d’équipe
  • Anglais courant, Français ou Italien est un plus

What we will do together:

Being an intern at ATR means being integrated into a team as a full member with a real scope of intervention and responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills and experience within a market leading company!

In the frame of future developments for a greener, quieter and safer airplane, ATR wants to improve the modeling capabilities of the aerodynamic of its propeller, to better anticipate the thrust efficiency, the effect of the flow on the whole airplane and the associated 1-p loads. Several techniques are available to simulate propellers, more or less realistic and complex, the intern will focuses on rapid unsteady aerodynamic methods. This will give ATR a robust tool to find the best technical compromise for the challenge of tomorrow greener aviation.

Detailed description of the mission:

  • State of the art of propeller CFD
  • CFD on several test cases
  • Comparison with wind tunnel tests and flight tests
  • Handling qualities, performances and loads
  • Evaluation of aero-accoustic capabilities
  • Pros and cons, limitations of each type of modelisation

This internship is designed for you

  • Master degree in aeronautics (ISAE …)
  • Aerodynamics, CFD, handling qualities, performances
  • Autonomous, team player
  • English (advanced), French or Italian is an asset
