Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Aircraft Control System Engineer – Equipment – (f/m) to join our Flight Control Equipment department based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a dynamic and multi-cultural team of professionals developing Primary Flight Control Actuators.

Indeed the job involves exciting team working in a passionate and dynamic international Department, in link with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.

As part of the team, you will be involved in developing and continuously improving Hydro-Mechanical Actuators of the Primary Flight Control systems on all Airbus commercial aircraft.

Leading design improvements, solving in-service issues and development of major Equipment of Flight Control Systems, you will deal with the highest-level engineering aspects of the aircraft.

Your challenges:

You will support the role of Product Leader described as follow:

  • Writing specification on new actuators or modifications

  • Defining Tests and Integration of Actuators of the Flight Control systems,

  • Supporting compliance to Airworthiness regulation, Safety and Maturity targets of the Equipment,

  • Managing Equipment suppliers, accountable for design activities

  • Managing project p and communication with different interfaces as Chief Engineering, Customer Support, Procurement and all Engineering stakeholders

Your boarding pass:

  • Educated to an Engineer degree level (or equivalent) in Electronics,

  • Specific interest and/or previous exposure on Mechanical Equipment,

  • Knowledge in aircraft system engineering and first working experiences in aerospace industry,

  • Team spirit,

  • Language skills: Advanced of English, Fluent of French.

This role will require some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
