The CRYOPROP Superconducting Technologies for DC Distribution (M/F) internship is within Airbus UpNext' CRYOPROP team.
This internship will ideally begin in February (date subject to flexibility), and will last for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Mission
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Basic Thermo Electrical Simulations (COMSOL Multiphysics) of Cryogenic Current Leads and Heat Exchangers
Assisting on the assembly of multiple experiments in cryogenic environment
Data acquisition and data analysis of experimental results (Python, Matlab, or similar )
Compare the performance of superconducting cables to conventional technologies
You will work very closely cross-functionally with the Airbus Teams, as well as external stakeholders. You have great collaborative skills, with a good understanding of interface management and practical problem solving.
