Airbus Defense and Space is looking for an

Aerospace Engineer Military Aviation (d/f/m)

The maintenance and service center for the world's most versatile transport aircraft A400M is located in Wunstorf. The service and ongoing adaptation to customer needs ensure the safe, reliable and economical operation of the German A400M fleet. The work task includes the holistic support of the German A400M fleet with regard to technical and non-technical inquiries from our customer, the German Air Force.

Wunstorf is located in the immediate vicinity of Hanover, the state capital of Lower Saxony and directly on the Steinhuder Meer. The workplace is located at the air force base with direct contact to customer and product.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Supporting the Bundeswehr in ensuring flight operations of the German A400M fleet

  • Respond to all customer inquiries and develop solutions to operational and performance issues

  • Ensuring that our support is continually adapted to customer needs by increasing the overall quality and provision of information

  • Creation and ongoing updating of operational documentation and delivery of all data required for the safe and efficient operation of the German A400M fleet to the German Air Force

  • Developing new services and testing new tools according to customer requirements

  • Carrying out analyzes on behalf of the customer

  • Contribute to safety improvements, reliability evaluations, product monitoring and improvements

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Completed studies in aerospace engineering or comparable

  • Knowledge of aircraft structure & avionics

  • Experience in aircraft documentation and knowledge of aviation licensing regulations

  • Experience in a military environment is desirable

  • Strong communication skills and organizational talent

  • Experience in working with involved authorities (EASA, LufA Bw) is desirable

  • Fluent German and English skills or willingness to develop these language skills
