A vacancy for an A400M Retrofit & MRO Implementation Manager has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Sevilla or Getafe. The successful applicant will join "TASAR-TL2 - A400M Retrofit & MRO Program".
RESPONSIBILITIES
The mission of A400M Retrofit and MRO Program is to perform the necessary activities and program management in order to deliver fully capable and mission ready A400M through reliable and efficient Retrofit and MRO solutions boosting Customer satisfaction. The added value to the company is obtained through a sustainable business model being an attractive A400M upgrade reference and the performance of on-time, on-cost and on-quality Retrofit and MRO works.
The A400M MRO Implementation Management team is end-to-end in charge of the preparation and execution of the standalone, combined events and/or Working Parties. This involves:
- The definition and agreement with the Customer of the scope of work to be performed on the aircraft, aircraft entry activities into the Airbus Defence and Space facilities,
- The management of the event.
- Delivery of the aircraft back to the Customer, and
- The delivery follow-up activities (lessons learnt / outstanding work closure if any / Customer satisfaction survey).
You are accountable of:
- Definition and control of the Scope by preparing each campaign individual event and drum beating the milestones, coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the negotiation with the Customer on the scope of work which shall be implemented on an aircraft, culminating in the signature of the contractual document between Customer and Airbus Defense and Space.
- Project management of the event from the preparation until the end, coordinating both internal and external stakeholders to ensure proper event progress and management.
- Responsible of the On-TCQP delivery of the aircraft back to the Customer acording to the contractual agreement.
- Ensure and manage the proper scope assessment and decision making process on occurrences during the event such as; additional requests from the Customer and official documents (e.g.: AOTs / ADs).
- Ensure and manage the coordination with Flight Test team before and during the Hand Over and Hand Back of the aircraft for aircraft acceptance and delivery.
- Ensure and manage the proper execution of Earned Value Management, Uniied Planning, Risk & Opportunity processes. Contribute to their implementation where applicable.
- Ensure and manage the compliance of commitments after the completion of the event, perform Lessons Learnt and implementation improvements into the established process.
- Ensure transparent status reports and communication / foster mutual understanding and contributors buy-in.

- Experience in similar roles.
