About the role

We are looking for a JL4 Analytics Product Specialist to join Maersk’s People Data & Analytics (PD&A) team, supporting our Business Segments & Operations Vertical, with a strong focus on Frontline and Operational workforces.

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and evolving front‑end analytics products that are used by leaders and managers within the People Function across business operations. You will specialise in BI development, dashboard design, and insight delivery, ensuring people data is accessible, trusted, and actionable at scale.

You will work closely with product owners, stakeholders, People Analytics Partners, other BI developers, BI engineers, data stewards, and data teams to deliver high‑quality, user‑centric analytics products across core people domains such as Recruitment, Learning & Development, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and functional performance management.

This is a senior individual contributor role (JL4) with high visibility, strong stakeholder interaction, and clear ownership of analytics product outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain front‑end BI dashboards and reporting products for operational and frontline workforce and HR data domain use cases
  • Translate business and HR requirements into clear, intuitive, and scalable analytics solutions
  • Own the visual design, usability, and storytelling of analytics products, ensuring insights drive decision‑making
  • Partner closely with product owners, people analytics partners, and stakeholders to refine product scope, priorities, and success criteria
  • Ensure consistency of metrics, definitions, and visuals across people analytics products
  • Support testing, validation, and release of analytics solutions in line with PD&A standards
  • Act as a trusted analytics advisor to stakeholders, helping interpret results and explain insights
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BI standards, templates, and ways of working
  • Coach and support other colleagues on BI best practices and product thinking

We are looking for someone who

  • Has strong experience in BI development and analytics product delivery
  • Is highly skilled in front‑end analytics, dashboard design, and data visualisation
  • Brings a product mindset, with a strong focus on end‑users and business outcomes
  • Is comfortable working with complex people datasets and explaining insights clearly
  • Can operate independently at JL4 level, with clear ownership and accountability
  • Communicates confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Thrives in a global, matrixed, and fast‑moving environment

Preferred skills and experience

  • Advanced experience with Power BI (or equivalent enterprise BI tools)
  • Strong understanding of metrics design, KPI frameworks, and reporting logic
  • Experience working with HR / people data, ideally across multiple domains (Workday experience is a distinct advantage)
  • Familiarity with data modelling, data pipelines, and validation processes (useful but not the primary focus)
  • Experience working in product‑oriented or agile environments
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with speed and pragmatism – this is a fast-moving part of the business
