Job Description

About the role

This role sits within the Planning, Delivery Portfolio & Performance team and is accountable for Delivery Excellence and Orchestration across Business Digital.

This role is accountable for establishing and leading the delivery planning, delivery performance and delivery quality capabilities that enable Business Digital to effectively plan, govern and deliver change.

This role will lead the operating mechanisms that provide visibility, alignment and control across the portfolio, ensuring strategic priorities translate into executable plans, delivery performance is measurable, and teams have the standards, tools and insights required to continuously improve. What you’ll be doing

  • Define and drive the delivery excellence strategy, ensuring alignment between business priorities, portfolio roadmaps and delivery commitments.
  • Own and continuously evolve portfolio planning and governance processes, providing senior leadership with clear visibility of delivery performance, risks and outcomes.
  • Establish and embed delivery performance and quality frameworks, using data and insight to improve predictability, delivery health and business value.
  • Identify systemic delivery challenges and lead strategic interventions that strengthen planning, execution, governance and overall portfolio performance.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation to champion modern delivery practices, influence decision making and drive continuous improvement at scale.
  • Build organisational capability through coaching, standards and best practice, fostering a culture of accountability, learning and delivery excellence.
