Flexible working approach
👬 At Volt, team is everything. We are building an exceptionally capable team because without our people, our mission will fail. Building a business lightning fast means we don’t have time to waste. We believe that giving our team flexibility allows them to bring their best to the business. 👫
Across all of our regional operations, we are committed to offering hybrid working. In London for example, our HQ, we have office space in the centre of Marylebone and you can see most of us here on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For the rest of the week we manage our own time at home and are trusted to deliver on projects. We have a great time when we're all together as well. 💃🏽
Another example is our Polish operation where we have teams in both Krakow and Warsaw. Teams work flexibly from home all week however on Thursdays there is a meet up in both cities where we spend the time to workshop and create with one another.

Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.

When we launched in 2019, we recognised how open banking had the power to transform how businesses, whatever they happen to be, receive payments from their customers. So, we set about building an open payments gateway that enables merchants across the globe to receive direct, account-to-account payments - in real time.
Now, on the back of a record breaking $23.5 million series A funding round, we’re building an all-star team to achieve our goal of ‘real time payments, everywhere’
