Great Teams Make Great Games.
Hiring exceptional talent has evolved. It's also no secret that some of the best gaming studios have the best people. We believe that competing for that talent requires sustainable hiring models to attract diverse and skilled minds who align with our core mission. Those same people deserve expert support when their career is at stake. That's where Studiotypes comes in: we help build teams in the Games industry with amazing talent, enabling studios to make real connections with their people and realise their dreams for growth.

The leadership at Studiotypes genuinely cares about constantly ensuring the company is truly flexible. We regularly trial new flexible benefits or brainstorm new ideas about how to improve the flexibility of the business.
Everything has been great in Studiotypes so far. WFH and Work from Anywhere is bliss. *Currently working from a park in the sun :)*
I love that I can be myself and do my work in my own way and get positive feedback as well as help/guidance in response to that.

About us
We build teams for the World's most interesting Gaming studios.
Whilst it's no secret the studios who make the best games typically attract and hire the best people, not everyone knows how to make that happen. That's where Studiotypes comes in.
We believe competing for great talent requires sustainable hiring models and a clear vision, if you want to attract the diverse and skilled minds who align well with your mission.
Those talented individuals equally deserve expert support when their career is at stake. They need to work with people who know what they're doing, and who do it well.
So we built a company that people want to work for and partner with, that at the very least, understands how to build teams others can only dream of.
Flexible working at Studiotypes
Since the beginning, Studiotypes has been committed to being a flexible employer.
We operate a work-from-anywhere policy, which means exactly that. We're individually distributed across London, the North East & North West of England, and now Poland, but often get together either in small groups or as a full team once a month, where possible.
We've been a remote-first business since 2016, but have continually provided workspace access to our team in London in Manchester, which the team can use at their discretion.
To put the power in the hand of the people that use the workspaces, each team member has a Pleo expense card which has pre-loaded funds for them to purchase the day passes, whenever they prefer to work in an office space instead of at home. Pleo can also be used for any other expenses they might have too, such as extra kit, client entertaining, or their flat white addictions.
We typically work around core hours of 10 am to 4 pm, but start and finish times are genuinely flexible, depending on workload and personal commitments.
Approach to diversity & inclusion
Our team of 11 people has an even distribution of male/female gender diversity, with 5 different nationalities including British, Italian, South African, Bulgarian, and Polish. We care deeply about diversity in our own team, and always encourage people from any gender, ethnicity, and underrepresented group to apply, safe in the knowledge we have created an environment that enables people from all sorts of backgrounds to feel supported in their work. We can always do better, however!
This ethos transcends the way we build teams for our studio partners, too. Helping teams in the games industry find new and creative ways to provide opportunity and accessibility to talent from all backgrounds and identities.

What do we think of Studiotypes?
Recruitment as an industry is notoriously not flexible in regards to the working environment as old norms are quite cemented. So, when beginning the re-accreditation process with Studiotypes, we were very intrigued to see how they would fair. And I'm pleased to say they were exceptional! Scoring in at 83% for their employer benchmark and at 87% on the employee survey shows that Studiotypes lives up to its promises. It's clear that employees are satisfied with how they work and the flexible benefits on offer.
