Seatfrog
The rail industry has been stuck in the past for a long, long time. We’re bringing it forward by a few centuries. Everything we do is designed to make train journeys a better, easier experience; making passengers happy and enabling our train partners to grow their ancillary revenue.

4 day weeks! Enough said!
I love it at Seatfrog. What's not to like, work anywhere within Europe, 4 days a week, all those Fridays off to enjoy with family and friends! Brilliant company, team and culture!
The best thing about working at Seatfrog is the genuinely flexible environment (we have an office in case people want to use it but there is absolutely no expectation to go in - most of the company have never even seen it..!), the complete autonomy over our work, and the real icing on the cake is the 4 day week - every weekend is a 3 day weekend...yes seriously!
It's a 4 day working week at Seatfrog which is an absolute game changer in terms of work life balance, wellbeing, and autonomy. We also have No Questions Asked days where you can take a day to yourself at short notice, no questions asked - this would be unheard of in a lot of workplaces. Finally, most of the leadership have varying homelife, childcare, and/or petcare commitments, so it feels like they genuinely keep people's lives in mind when making decisions.
4 day week
Fully remote or can work full/part time in office (WeWork).
General requirment to be at standup each day, other than that flexibility when to work as long as work gets done.
Working just 4 days a week is an amazing and unique benefit, that 100% helped me to have better work-life balance. My quality of life improved so much, I am able to live a slower life and engage in activities I didn't think about before like gardening, also have much more time for long walks with my dog. It also make me want to work hard during those 4 days and not waste time. Other than that, every time I had to make some errands during working hours, no one had any problems with that and everyone was very understanding.
Seatfrog is remote-first, with a 4 day week, and as a bonus for when you want to go in, the office space is dog-friendly! There is no obligation to attend the office at all. The 4 day week means I can manage my health, and personal life, and there's plenty of flexibility in terms of start time/scheduling. The whole team are friendly, supportive, and we meet socially semi-regularly, in different locations, as our staff are based across the UK and beyond!
Seatfrog puts us, employees first and has a great focus on the importance of work-life balance. It's the best I've experienced in my career. This flexibility in our working hours has made a world of difference. I've been able to achieve some fantastic things outside of work because of it. I've been able to pursue personal interests, hobbies, and even smash some personal goals that I've been dreaming about for ages.

About us
We are a one-stop shop for rail travel. Our users can buy train tickets, upgrade their tickets to first class, or even swap their train if plans have changed.
Seatfrog was born out of a frustration with an industry that was once a shining light of innovation, but has since been left in the dark ages. We want to bring joy back to travelling by train so we make the journey more comfortable with our upgrade auctions, more flexible with train swaps, and stress-free with our ticket buying - all packaged up in one app that's a joy to use.
Flexible working at Seatfrog
We believe flexible work should be just that. Flexible.
There's 'no one size fits all' here, and we do everything we can to make work, work for our team. For some people this means a 4pm finish, for some it's an extended lunch break to get to a gym class without rushing, some work strictly round the school run, and others like a good old fashioned trip to the office and a 5 o'clock finish.
The one thing we don't compromise on is the freedom to work anywhere - we have an office for the people who wish to use it, but there is no expectation to be there whatsoever (some people have never even seen it!) There's also a strict requirement to enjoy a three day weekend every week..!
Approach to diversity & inclusion
We're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected. We believe that everyone deserves a seat at the table; we want our team to reflect the diversity of the world around us to make sure we can continue to do right by all our passengers, as well as our employees.
What do we think of Seatfrog?
Seatfrog offers an incredible amount of flexibility and do not have one policy for all, they offer their employees choice. Employees work in a setup that suits them. This is reflected in their scores of 96% for both Autonomy and Role modelling. Employees love the working set up, and feel genuinely trusted and empowered.
Meet who might be hiring you
We’ve been on a real journey with our culture at Seatfrog. Pre-covid we were your classic start up operating out of a ‘cool’ office by Spitalfields market; 5 days a week, standard hours, and on average a 45 minute commute for every employee - very cliche! The pandemic forced us to take a step back and be far more intentional about how we operate, and why. We became acutely aware of how valuable time is to people, and so flexibility and work/life blend became the centre point of our culture. The first thing we got rid of was the absurd commute, then we realised that a lot of people are far more productive in their own specially curated environment, working the hours that work for them, and actually we have far more fun at our social events when we don’t see each other every single day.
We’re now a team made up of parents, carers, gym-buffs, book worms, DIY legends, wannabe Mary Berrys, karaoke superstars, and intrepid explorers that could give Bear Grylls a run for his money - and we make sure that everyone still has the time to do what they love, and still bring the best version of themselves to work.
