Our mission is to build the world's most diverse and accessible collaboration platform to easily engage all stakeholders in action to progress social and environmental causes. We aim to break down barriers to talent, and re-define the volunteering experience.
Goodsted is a social impact network that diversifies the volunteering experience by providing access to opportunities to share time and skills across all social and environmental causes. While it's an open platform for all individuals, it's also a solution for businesses to effectively engage stakeholders and measure the collective impact.
Unlike other solutions in this space which only connect colleagues with non-profits, Goodsted empowers organisations to engage colleagues, suppliers, partners and customers and measure the entire collective contributions of their ecosystem. The solution provides a way for organisations to have their own private platform as well as breaking down silos and connecting them to a wider network.
On Goodsted, organisations and individuals all around the world, across sectors, can exist on one platform and collaborate towards creating a better world. Goodsted combines the marketplace, SaaS, and social network models to create a 'market network'. It’s the world's first market network that empowers collaboration for social and environmental progress.
Flexible working approach
🌎 We are a fully remote company - our team can work from anywhere they'd like and we come together at least once a quarter to work together for 3-4 days, and we have team building events during this time as well! We have a flexible workspace at Impact Brixton, London, UK to work together from when we'd like if we're all in London together.
🙋♀️ We give 2 days each quarter to share skills / volunteer through the Goodsted platform, but if anyone would like to extend this for a specific project, we are flexible and happy to speak about options depending on other responsibilities and provide unlimited days of volunteering (as long as we achieve our quarterly objectives).
📕 We have a learning and development budget to support your career growth and skill development (e.g. courses, conferences, workshops).
✨ We are signed up to personal coaching with MoreHappi for well-being and everyone can meet with their coach once a week to discuss anything they'd like support with such as; self, purpose, work, parenting, relationships and more.
📊 We provide share option scheme to our employees (so you can own a piece of Goodsted!). We are a fully social impact driven company, but we also care about financial sustainability and achieving profitability for our investors and shareholders.
👫 We have virtual team building events once a month to connect as a whole team. We are 6 in our full-time team but we have 8 other colleagues who are contractors / freelancers who we work on a daily basis who are also an integral part of Goodsted's vision. As a team of 14 we are based in London, Budapest, and Izmir :)
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
