About us

Our Ambition: to lend £3 billion over the next 5 years.

We will provide property development loans of between £1 million and £5 million to regional property developers, SMEs, and construction companies across the North East, Yorkshire and North West.

Our ambition is to lend £3 billion over five years, building a £1 billion plus balance sheet. This will enable us to fund almost 20,000 homes and several million square feet of office space, supporting the creation of over 100,000 jobs. 

How will we make this happen? Through our highly competitive fixed rate savings bonds, giving savvy savers rates they’ll love for terms of up to five years.

Flexible working approach

At GB Bank, we're proud to have designed a truly flexible workplace.

Our whole approach centres around the principle 'own the way you work," – this means we empower our team to choose the location, hours and time of day that they believe enables them to do their best work. We offer a hybrid-setting: most of our employees will spend 3-4 days per week working from home. Every Wednesday is our "all team day," where we gather in-person to collaborate and connect.

We also offer our employees excellent benefits, including 30 days of annual leave, enhanced sick pay, sabbaticals, and the ability to work from anywhere in the world for 2 weeks per year.
