About us

We run an employee engagement platform that helps organisations measure and improve team happiness and culture. It does this through a clever blend of short weekly check-ins, combined with quarterly deeper dives and bespoke reporting.

We're a friendly, open bunch - keen on being happy at work ourselves! - and feel that our platform's secret sauce is its blend of psychology and statistics. Human-centred without being fluffy; statistically robust without going into data overload.

Friday Pulse launched at the start of 2018, and represents the culmination of over 10 years of our founder Nic Marks' work in creating and refining employee engagement surveys.

Flexible working at Friday Pulse

🌸 We want our staff to feel happy at work - and encouraging flexibility and autonomy is a key part of that. We want everyone at Friday Pulse to feel valued, respected and to have control over how they work for us.

🎈We're a four-day week company where staff typically work either Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday. We're also flexible within this, with each team agreeing changes and cover amongst themselves.

🦑 All team members can be very flexible in terms of location, with flexibility in hours varying by job role (e.g. Support may generally need to be more available during 'standard' office hours than, say, Marketing).

🍃 We're a remote-first company that has a London-based co-work available for staff to use when they would like to. Most London-based workers tend to come in once a week, but this isn't a requirement.

🦋 We're moving towards a company-wide meet-up once a month for those that can travel to London and also typically have an all-company team-building afternoon once a quarter.

Approach to diversity & inclusion

Increasing happiness at work is the key reason Friday Pulse exists, so we want our company itself to be a welcoming and diverse place. Although we aspire to inclusivity, we've definitely still got a long way to go. We'd love you to be a part of our growth, so please do check in with any questions, concerns or needs 🌞
What do we think of Friday Pulse?

Friday Pulse is all about staff happiness, it's in their veins! After chatting with George and Megan, it was easy to realise this is a place that genuinely cares about their employees, and fully understand the benefits of having flexibility in the workplace. A company with a great mission, and fantastic benefits... great work guys!
