Fully flexible hours
Work is how humanity gets things done. We help do it better.
Filtered intelligently filters content to help your people learn better. Find the right course, article, video or podcast for every situation fast by organising, tagging and recommending useful content – and save money by cutting the rest. Because when learning is more focused, big intentional changes in organisations succeed. That approach is helping build capabilities with clients such as Heineken, Royal Mail and the NHS.
That means intelligently filtering learning content in large organisations and delivering it to the right people, at the right, time using personalised recommendations to help them build the skills they need. Because learning is more about falling in love with an idea than sitting in classrooms or following an online pathway someone else built for you. It’s about meaningful moments - encounters where something clicks, something changes and you find motivation you didn't have before.
By delivering those moments at scale, we can make a real difference. That’s what the 40 members of the Filtered fam, based around the world, spend their days working on. We’re a curious, considerate, thoughtful, multicultural team with a passion for learning, solving complex challenges, and having fun doing it. And we’re always on the look-out for like-minded, like-spirited people.
Flexible working approach
We don't believe in presenteeism. We really, really care about building a truly flexible workplace with a remote-first approach. We don't mind where you work, and working hours can be shifted a bit to start a bit earlier or finish later if needed. We want you to find a way of working that works for you.
We have membership of a co-working space for people to come together as and when they want to collaborate with colleagues and enjoy the social aspect of working together. We also offer our employees private healthcare, mental health support, enhanced parental leave and a personal development budget.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.
What do we think of Filtered?
Filtered is one the new breed of scale-ups that has chosen a remote-first approach to work, with the option to use a co-working space as required. I think this can be a really brilliant way to build a working environment, so long as you can build a strong company culture across a distributed team. Thankfully, that's exactly what the guys at Filtered have achieved.
With significant financial backing (having completed their Series A last year), and an enviable client base, Filtered are on a very exciting growth path.
