Figures has a very supportive company culture, I don't have much more to say - It's a good place to work 🙂
Figures has a very positive culture around work-life balance. We are here to get stuff done and have total autonomy on how we get there.
At Figures I feel totally autonomous. Obviously this freedom comes with great responsibilities, but this is part of the companies values, and I really appreciate it. I am also a big fan of the 9 days fortnight, which allows me to find the right work/life balance.
For a long time I thought I knew what working was all about... until Figures reached out to me, and now my life is truly complete.
Figures is honestly an amazing place to work. Autonomy, trust, flexibility are 100% part of the DNA. You're measured by results, not by face-time or hours worked. Plus it's an incredible team - perfect balance between hyper-ambitious and not taking themselves too seriously. Working a 9-day fortnight is also a major plus for me.
For me, Figures found the right balance between flexibility and work together as a team! I can work from anywhere I want, but I also really like our team gatherings that happen once every 2 months. I have full autonomy on how I do my job, and I like it: ownership is key at Figures!

Created in October 2020 by Virgile & Bastien, Figures is Europe's leading compensation management platform, helping companies to make fair and efficient salary decisions.
We do that by providing them with reliable up-to-date (real-time) compensation data and the right tooling to manage their compensation process and get rid of spreadsheets.
As of today, we are a team of around 30 people, helping 800 companies all over Europe (with France, the UK and Germany being our core markets). We raised €6.8m in September 2022 to accelerate our expansion.
Our goal is now two-fold:
- Cement our position as the main European compensation platform.
- Continue to expand our product to compensation management as a whole - We’ve just launched our new Compensation Review module, learn more about it here 🙌
Flexible working at Figures

Flexible working at Figures focuses around approaching three key elements:
- We have a generous time off policy: 25 days of annual paid time off + 1 extra day off every fortnight (we apply a “9-day fortnight” schedule: we get Wednesday or Friday off every other week - learn more about it here!).
- We are a remote-first company (in Europe) and we offer regular opportunities to meet: 3 offsites per year, remote trips with some of your colleagues, dedicated coworking / “visit the Paris HQ” budget. Everything you need to know about it is documented here!
- We have no strict working hours; trust is key at Figures!
Approach to diversity & inclusion
We are committed in making Figures as inclusive and diverse as possible. Powering improved pay equity is part of our mission and we want it to reflect in our company culture. That said, we're not perfect, and we try to constantly improve ourselves.
Regarding maternity & parental leave: our basis is the French market minimum, but if you’re in a country with better ones, we’ll align your perks on it, hoping that someday we’ll all be aligned to German standards. 🙌 On top of that:
👉 1-month parental leave for the second parent paid at 100% of the salary.
👉 1-month worked part-time (50%) but paid at 100% when returning from maternity leave.
We also introduced a chronic illness leave: to support those who may suffer from chronic illness (such as endometriosis, Crohn’s disease, epilepsy, fibromyalgia, etc.), we give them the flexibility to have an additional monthly leave to be used at their discretion.

We've loved working with Figures throughout the Flexification process. Figures offer amazing benefits and flexible working options. Hi! I’m Corentin, recruiter at Figures. I started working with the team as a freelancer and decided to join them full-time after a few months. What made me make that choice? Our company mission & product and its impact on pay equity, as well as our growth trajectory. But more than that: the people I met and the culture they had created. I’m proud to help candidates join a team which values a high level of autonomy and ownership, transparent & caring feedback, as well as having fun along the way (our folks usually have a good sense of humour!).
