We envision equity better utilised by employers and better understood by workers. Not just as a deal-sweetener for new hires, but used to align, incentivise and reward employees throughout their careers. We envision employees empowered to access the wealth they helped to create at a time that suits them, through secondaries. No more waiting for an IPO or a sale to ‘cash out’ on your shares.
Flexible working approach
At Capdesk, we are remote-friendly, but more importantly team-first. This means that we want to empower all our team members to work how they work best. We want to make everybody successful no matter their location, family, mental health, time zone, etc (more information by clicking here). We have two offices, in London and Copenhagen, and you're more than welcome to use them if you live in these locations. In addition to the flexible working, we also practise what we preach and you'll find a transparent equity ownership model here. Everyone shares in the profits and wealth at Capdesk! We give a lot of trust to our employees and put a big emphasis on autonomy. One way we live this is by giving every Capdesker their own company credit card and a generous allowance to buy their equipment. We enjoy lots of (virtual) social time together during our weekly and monthly socials, and our quarterly kickoffs. We host an annual London meet-up.
Scoring against our flexibility index (1 = not at all flexible, 100 = couldn’t be more flexible, 51 is average) using a number of parameters to assess flexibility such as working from home, hours, frequency of travel, benefits, etc.
Employee benchmarking score
Scoring against our employee perception index (1 = not seen as flexible, 100 = couldn’t be happier with the flexibility, 51 is average) using a number of more emotional / perception based questions to understand whether employees feel supported and offered what they want. The areas we cover are work-life balance / managerial support / flexible benefits / working environment / and many others.

It's been a pleasure getting to know Lea and the working environment at Capdesk. It's transparently clear that they are providing an exceptional flexible working environment for their employees to do their best work. Both benchmark tests we conducted we're very close and almost the same, which shows CapDesk are very intune with how their employees feel and what they may want in the future.
