Not just as a deal-sweetener for new hires, but used to align, incentivise and reward employees throughout their careers. We envision employees empowered to access the wealth they helped to create at a time that suits them, through secondaries. No more waiting for an IPO or a sale to ‘cash out’ on your shares.

Flexible working approach

At Capdesk, we're a flexible employer. We're remote-friendly, but more importantly, we're team-first. This means that we want to empower all our team members to work how they work best. We want to make everybody successful no matter their location, family, mental health, or time zone (more information by clicking here). We have two dog friendly offices in London and Copenhagen, and you're more than welcome to use them if you live in these locations. In addition to the flexible working, we also practise what we preach, meaning you'll find a transparent equity ownership model here. We firmly believe that everyone can and should share in the profits and wealth at Capdesk.

We trust our employees and put a big emphasis on autonomy. For example, we give every Capdesker their own company credit card and a generous allowance to buy their equipment. We have other excellent benefits including mental health and well-being support via Spill, enhanced parental leave, and a remote-first environment.

We enjoy lots of (virtual) social time together during our weekly and monthly socials, as well as our quarterly kickoffs, and host an annual London meet-up.

Approach to diversity & inclusion

  • To reduce bias in the hiring process, we anonymise any challenges or presentations that candidates submit as part of their application. Reviewers do not know any identifying details, including the name and gender, of the candidate whose work they’re assessing.
  • We edit gendered language out of job descriptions, in order to make them as neutral as possible and attract diverse applicants.
  • We codified our company values at the start of 2021, which include the sentence “We create equal opportunities and believe that diversity in business is a strength.”
