The culture is one of supportive and high-performance. Because of the flexibility I am afforded, I am the most motivated I have ever been in a role. I feel totally empowered to do my job to the best of my ability, and that means being able to work where and how I want. I wouldn't be anywhere else.

I haven't worked for a recruitment company as flexible as 11, I have the autonomy to do what I need to do in a way that suits my life. We are results-based and don't focus on presenteeism. The benefits are great. I was responsible for the creation of our parental leave policy and after conducting lots of research into the market I know ours is really impressive.

The best thing about 11 Investments as a group is the honesty and transparency throughout across all functions.

It's a truly flexible approach - the trust is there to "get the job done" (regardless of the days/hours)

The company certainly tries to keep the culture by having "office days" (Tuesdays & Thursdays), but this is to ensure that the company can maintain its friendly, kind & communicative culture.

However, If I ever need to do something within office hours (like a dentist, doctors, or even a parcel) I have the autonomy to make decisions about how my time is best spent.

11 Investments is a high-performance culture, and with that comes expectations of excellent work and not just presenteeism.

I would describe the culture as very "grown-up". We're not treated like children - we've been trained well and we're trusted to choose how, when and where we do the work to achieve our goals. We work in a sales environment which is naturally focussed on performance, but the leadership team are realistic that a) what worked for them doesn't necessarily work for everyone and b) very high levels of performance can be achieved remotely and/or with flexible hours.

I feel empowered to work in a way which suits me best, with plenty of role models to look at and see how else it could be done.

The company benefits at 11 Investments are second to none. We are given a lot of trust, respect and autonomy to perform our work. It truly is the best place to work!

We are recruiters turned investors, focusing on what we know and what we love – investing in incredible recruiters.

At 11 Investments, we're committed to building a truly flexible workplace. We have a fantastic office off Regent Street on the edge of Soho in London. We've always wanted to be in this part of London, as it's a really dynamic and accessible location, offering staff the opportunity and flexibility to work collaboratively or remotely.

Approach to diversity & inclusion

At 11 Investments, we understand the importance of embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and seek to promote the benefits in all business activities, both internally, and externally with our clients and our suppliers. Employers are increasingly recognising the importance of having a diverse workforce, and it’s now widely recognised that companies that have a diverse employee makeup have been found to outperform those with a more linear employee base.

We have implemented various internal practices as part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion to ensure that we are staying ahead of the curve in this ever-evolving area.


Firstly, we ensure that all of our staff are fully trained on the subject. We were the first recruitment agency to partner with Diversifying.io, a purpose-led careers platform dedicated to helping employers that are serious about diversity and inclusion, in order to carry out full diversity and inclusion training. We hold in-depth interactive training sessions for all of our staff to empower them on the subject of diversity and inclusion, and to arm them with the knowledge to assist our clients and candidates.

We also conduct training sessions with our staff on how to broaden their search for more diverse talent and how they can adapt their search requirements to include usually under-represented groups.

Internal Recruitment:

Our internal recruitment team works hard to ensure all our recruitment drives prioritise hiring individuals from a broad range of backgrounds. We use Gender De-Coder software to ensure our website content and job descriptions are ‘neutral’ and do not discourage anyone to apply.

Diverse Hiring Process:

We take time to understand any neurodiversity of our applicants so that we can tailor our interview and screening process to meet their requirements. We also ensure that all applicants that get to the interview stage meet a diverse panel of staff at each stage of the process. Finally, we incorporate screening questions in our interviews to ascertain whether the applicant has a diverse mindset.

It’s important to us that our policy around diversity and inclusion stays up-to-date and relevant. We understand that this is an ever-evolving subject which is why we have appointed a team of diversity and inclusion champions at 11 Investments to monitor how the subject is evolving.
