Job location

18.29% of candidates have specified that they are looking for hybrid work in April. This is a huge jump of 86.6% when compared to March 2022 and a 70.3% increase since Q1 2022.

Flexible working hours 

With more employees starting to return to the office more regularly and transitioning into a hybrid model, we are seeing an upward trend in demand for flexible hours, with a 22.6% increase from 57% in Q4 2021 to 69.9% in Q1 2022.

The usage of our flexible hours' filter has also increased by 23.6% over the previous three months, with 29.17% of all candidates in April 2022 only browsing roles that offer flexible working hours. 

Enabling your employees to spend a couple of days a week in the office whilst offering flexibility around working hours gives - more freedom with balancing personal schedules such as childcare, school pick-ups and drop-offs, pet care, family commitments and any other personal matters. Ultimately, leading to happier employees.

Remote first 

39.7% of candidates have expressed interest in working remote-first with an optional office, a whopping 205.4% increase since March 2022.

It is evident that candidates are valuing having a choice over their working environments depending on how they work best whilst maintaining an all-important work-life balance.
