About this Role
We are seeking a Learning & Capability Development Specialist to partner with business stakeholders to design, deliver, and measure impactful learning experiences that build organisational capability. This role focuses on creating simple, engaging, and effective learner journeys while driving measurable business outcomes through learning initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Partner with stakeholders to define clear learning outcomes aligned with business priorities
- Design and deliver learning solutions using structured instructional design methodologies
- Simplify and enhance the learner experience across platforms and programmes
- Lead capability development initiatives, including skill assessment and impact measurement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, including return on investment
- Facilitate training sessions where required, ensuring an engaging and inclusive environment
- Drive learner engagement through campaigns, success stories, and internal communications
- Collaborate with L&D teams globally to ensure a seamless and consistent learning experience
- Provide guidance to line managers on learning initiatives and development opportunities
- Support budget planning and optimisation for learning activities
Who you are
- Experienced in learning and development, including training delivery and instructional design
- Skilled in applying adult learning principles, including Bloom’s taxonomy and pedagogical methods
- Confident in managing projects and navigating complex organisational environments
- Knowledgeable in learning tools, learning performance management, and engagement techniques
- A strong communicator with the ability to consult and influence stakeholders
- Comfortable working across global teams and managing diverse learning priorities
- Familiar with learning management systems and digital tools such as Microsoft 365
- Educated to a degree level, preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related fields
- Experienced in working with external partners or agencies
- Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is beneficial
