About this role

We are seeking a project management professional to deliver complex, multi‑domain network projects within the Delivery Management as a Service (DMaaS) team, based in Pune. This role supports VOIS customers across Vodafone’s European markets and Group stakeholders, managing projects across mobile and fixed access, core networks, service platforms, transport, OSS, and cloud engineering.
The role offers exposure to diverse network programmes, requires the ability to adapt across customers and domains, and plays a key part in strengthening VOIS’s PM managed services portfolio using the NSE end‑to‑end delivery framework

What you will do

  • Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle, or implementation phases, of complex network projects, from feasibility and design through development, testing, acceptance, transition to operations, and optimisation.
  • Establish and maintain robust project governance in collaboration with Market Delivery Managers and Network Strategy & Engineering stakeholders.
  • Define, maintain and track integrated project plans aligned to wider programme and market timelines.
  • Ensure high‑quality project management deliverables in line with NSE standards, governance, and customer priorities.
  • Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations, driving mitigation actions and prioritisation of people, budget, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate, timely reporting within the NSE project management tool, ensuring transparency and early identification of roadblocks.
  • Coordinate budgets ranging from approximately €100k to multi‑million‑euro initiatives, applying sound financial judgement.
  • Actively promote the evolution and expansion of PM managed services for VOIS customers, sharing best practices across the DMaaS community.
  • Support team productivity by mentoring peers, contributing to engagement initiatives, and stepping in to support projects when required.

Who you are

  • An experienced project management professional with at least three years’ experience delivering telecommunications or network engineering projects.
  • Comfortable managing multi‑domain, cross‑market, and technically complex initiatives with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledgeable in end‑to‑end network architecture, system integration, and inter‑functional dependencies.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, virtual team leadership, communication, and executive‑level reporting.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and confident in applying judgement across diverse cultural and organisational contexts.
  • Qualified with a university degree in computer science, telecommunications, or a related field, alongside a recognised project management certification (such as PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner).
  • Financially aware, with the ability to manage budgets and commercial priorities effectively.

What skills you will learn

  • Advanced delivery of multi‑market, multi‑technology network programmes.
  • Enhanced stakeholder influencing and governance management across complex environments.
  • Deeper financial and commercial acumen within large‑scale telecom projects.
