Job Description

Job Description:

The Senior Manager Global Workforce & Organizational Effectiveness Intelligence is a key member of the Organization Effectiveness and Workforce Planning Center of Excellence (COE). This is a high-impact position for an experienced workforce analytics consultant with functional expertise who excels at translating strategic business challenges into structured workforce intelligence and executive action. This role serves as the lead analytical and consulting partner to the COE, bridging the gap between strategic business questions and the workforce intelligence required for executive decision-making.

The successful candidate possesses deep domain knowledge in workforce planning, organization effectiveness, and workforce intelligence, combined with key consulting skills such as structured problem-solving and executive communication. You will be responsible for defining what to measure and how to measure it, interpreting complex data to tell a compelling business story, and advising senior leaders on workforce and org effectiveness implications. This position plays a critical role in establishing enterprise-wide standards for workforce and org effectiveness metrics and monitoring organizational health.

Operating in a decentralized, multi-business unit organization, you will partner with P&O (people & operations or HR), finance, and business leaders at the enterprise and business-unit level. You will serve as a bridge between the COE, business-units, P&O (HR) technology teams, corporate finance, and commercial teams.

What we are looking for?

  • 8 years of experience across strategic workforce planning, org design / operating model, and organization effectiveness analytics

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with Workday as well as workforce planning and org effectiveness tools (e.g., Orgvue, Visier, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan). This includes functional proficiency and strategic command of these tools, with an emphasis on how organizational data is represented and modeled

  • Deep functional expertise in organization effectiveness and strategic workforce planning frameworks, metrics, and benchmarks - including leading practices, operational complexities, and risks

  • Proven experience establishing enterprise-level workforce and OE metrics for large organizations, including advising on P&O (HR) and finance metrics integration

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau) capabilities for ad-hoc modeling, data blending, and scenario exploration

  • Proven expertise in translating abstract business questions into structured workforce planning and org effectiveness analytical plans, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact insights that influence executive decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a translator between senior P&O (HR), finance, and commercial leaders, aligning disparate stakeholder groups around a shared understanding of the strategic implications of workforce data

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Assist with designing and leading the COE’s Workforce Intelligence agenda to enable workforce planning and monitor organizational health, productivity, and effectiveness

  • Advise on workforce planning and org effectiveness benchmarks and assist with developing targets

  • Provide thought leadership on the continued impact of AI transformation on workforce planning and org effectiveness metrics

  • Serve as a thought partner, translating ambiguous executive workforce planning and org effectiveness questions into hypotheses and structured analysis

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations to senior leadership that clearly articulate workforce and org effectiveness trends, risks, and opportunities, influencing data-driven decisions

2. Enterprise Workforce Intelligence & Org Effectiveness Intelligence

  • Design and conduct workforce planning and organizational effectiveness analysis, synthesizing disparate data points (P&O / HR, financial, commercial, external) to proactively identify insights and risks

  • Monitor organizational health, complexity, and productivity. Proactively identify and investigate anomalies

  • Lead and enhance enterprise headcount reporting, including integration with finance and commercial teams

  • Analyze the impact of operating model changes and large-scale transformations on organizational effectiveness

  • Serve as the COE’s lead consultant on time-sensitive executive inquires, delivering data-driven, executive-level insights

  • Provide data-backed insights on future workforce trends, conduct workforce risk analysis, and support capability forecasting

3. Enterprise Metrics & Governance

  • Lead the development, definition, and consistent application of enterprise workforce planning and organization effectiveness metrics

  • Partner with stakeholders to integrate metrics into core strategy, financial planning and risk management processes

  • Serve as a functional workforce planning and org effectiveness analytics expert on enterprise people data governance, technology, and analytics initiatives
