Role : Demand Planning Manager

Location : Mumbai

Job Responsibilities

E2E Demand Planner responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning - Develop a reliable and capable demand plan across 2Year+ horizon, for the defined market, including promotion and launches, and perform ongoing analysis of demand variability, assess risk and take corrective action to close gaps

  • S&OP+ Demand Management Review (DMR) – support to the S&OP+ process facilitator. Generate statistical baseline forecast, supported with demand assumption from the business, to fuel the conversation with the forum stakeholders, to have an aligned outcome.

  • Deploy RC India planning process standard for RC India S&OP+ DMR process within Regional / Global guidelines

  • Accountable to maintain the documentation of the Planning Business processes and supporting system transactions

  • Provide expert functional support to the planning community and being part of the Global / Regional Planning Key User for FutureMaster

Demand Planning Key User responsibilities:

  • Acquire the best knowledge about business processes and supporting systems functionality

  • Assess process conformance in local business community and suggest actions for improvements to BPOs if required

  • Test new systems functionality (periodical and yearly slots) with the objective to avoid process perturbation and to potentially introduce the new functionality into local business processes in order to move to the next level of best practice

  • Train business users (existing and new joiners) on business processes and supporting systems functionality

  • Support business users by fixing issues or by escalating issues to regional or global support teams, IT or Business.

  • Represent area of responsibility in x-functional workgroups with other KUs to ensure seamless integration across functions locally

Program Manager responsibilities:

  • Support and lead all key phases for an E2E-Planning core model deployment in RC India : Demand Segmentation, UAT, go-live, hyper-care and post-project support

  • Act as the Guardian of RC India E2E Planning Core Model Solution and Process Golden rules specific to Demand Planning

  • Manage and Coordinate all day-to-day project tasks with the cross functional project team and local teams

  • Coordinate with regional program manager, global BPO’s, FutureMaster consultants and all local / Regional stakeholders to deliver the project on time

  • Monitor and report project progress to project steer-co on regular basis

  • Implement planning processes as per the global/regional standard guidelines and Ensure creation of all necessary documentation for RC India

  • Facilitate the change linked to new ways of working with consistent communication to all local stakeholders at RC India

  • Ensure master data cleansing enabling the project success

  • Support, guide and train key users to adopt the process and supporting systems

  • Represent area of responsibility in x-functional workgroups with other KUs to ensure seamless integration across functions locally

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Note: May differ from the current job holder’s own skills and experience

1. Education & Professional Qualification

  • Masters / Post graduate degree in Business management/ Supply Chain management

  • Project management certification is a plus

  • Fluent (spoken & written) Communication Skills in English

2. Knowledge/Experience

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Demand Planning/S&OP/Project role in a FMCG company (Ideally Food)

  • Proven track record in demand planning processes, S&OP and business knowledge in organizations / processes

  • Knowledge of Supply Planning, FutureMaster, IT interfaces and Master data is a plus
