Trainer & Quality Coordinator Warehouse

Job Description

We are looking for a Trainer & Quality Coordinator to help our warehouse teams grow their skills and ensure our daily operations run smoothly. In this role, you will support training activities, help maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across our contract logistics operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a good eye for detail, and wants to develop their career in logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Deliver onboarding and basic operational training (safety, equipment handling, receiving, picking, packing, inventory, shipping).

• Help create and update training materials such as SOPs, work instructions, presentations, and job aids.

• Maintain training records, certifications (e.g., forklift/MHE), and skill matrices.

• Support refresher training and day-to-day coaching on warehouse processes.

• Provide feedback on training effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Quality Support

• Assist in monitoring quality standards based on customer and internal requirements.

• Participate in internal checks on key warehouse activities (order accuracy, labeling, scanning, packaging).

• Support investigations of quality issues and help document corrective actions.

• Help track key quality indicators such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and damage rates.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure SOPs are kept updated and followed by the team.

• Support safety training and compliance with local regulations.

• Work with the HSE team to promote safe work habits.

Continuous Improvement

• Help identify improvement opportunities in daily operations.

• Take part in customer meetings and operational improvement discussions.

• Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.

• Support new project launches and process changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent experience (preferred but not mandatory).

• Some experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or 3PL environment.

• Basic understanding of logistics processes (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory).

• Interest or initial experience in training, quality, or auditing activities.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Familiarity with WMS systems is a plus.

• Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

• Fluency in English and German.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as Train-the-Trainer, ISO Auditor, or Lean Six Sigma (not mandatory).

• Experience with MHE (forklifts, reach trucks) or safety training is a plus.

• Experience working with customer KPIs or SLA monitoring is an advantage.

  Hauptaufgaben

  Training & Entwicklung

  • Durchführung von Onboarding-Trainings sowie grundlegenden operativen Schulungen (Arbeitssicherheit, Geräteeinsatz, Wareneingang, Kommissionierung, Verpackung, Inventur, Versand)
  • Unterstützung bei der Erstellung und Aktualisierung von Trainingsunterlagen wie SOPs, Arbeitsanweisungen, Präsentationen und Schulungshilfen
  • Pflege von Schulungsnachweisen, Zertifizierungen (z. B. Gabelstapler / MHE) und Skill-Matrizen
  • Unterstützung bei Auffrischungsschulungen sowie täglichem Coaching zu Lagerprozessen
  • Feedback zur Wirksamkeit von Trainingsmaßnahmen geben und Verbesserungsvorschläge einbringen

  Qualitätsunterstützung

  • Unterstützung bei der Überwachung von Qualitätsstandards gemäß Kunden- und internen Anforderungen
  • Teilnahme an internen Kontrollen zentraler Lageraktivitäten (Auftragsgenauigkeit, Etikettierung, Scannen, Verpackung)
  • Unterstützung bei der Untersuchung von Qualitätsabweichungen sowie Dokumentation von Korrekturmaßnahmen
  • Mitwirkung bei der Nachverfolgung wichtiger Qualitätskennzahlen wie Auftragsgenauigkeit, Bestandsgenauigkeit und Schadensquoten

  Compliance & Arbeitssicherheit

  • Sicherstellung, dass SOPs aktuell sind und vom Team eingehalten werden
  • Unterstützung von Sicherheitsschulungen und Einhaltung lokaler Vorschriften
  • Zusammenarbeit mit dem HSE-Team zur Förderung sicherer Arbeitsweisen

  Kontinuierliche Verbesserung

  • Unterstützung bei der Identifikation von Verbesserungspotenzialen im Tagesgeschäft
  • Teilnahme an Kundenterminen und Gesprächen zu operativen Verbesserungen
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Führungskräften zur Optimierung von Arbeitsabläufen und Produktivität
  • Unterstützung bei neuen Projekteinsätzen und Prozessänderungen

  Erforderliche Qualifikationen & Fähigkeiten

  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Logistik, Supply Chain, Betriebswirtschaft oder vergleichbare Berufserfahrung (von Vorteil, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich)
  • Erste Erfahrung in der Lagerlogistik, im Logistikumfeld oder bei einem 3PL-Dienstleister
  • Grundlegendes Verständnis logistischer Prozesse (Wareneingang, Kommissionierung, Verpackung, Versand, Inventur)
  • Interesse an oder erste Erfahrung in den Bereichen Training, Qualität oder Auditierung
  • Gute Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten
  • Kenntnisse im Umgang mit WMS-Systemen sind von Vorteil
  • Neugierige, proaktive Arbeitsweise und Lernbereitschaft
  • Verhandlungssichere Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse
