- Lead, coach, and develop a maintenance team, providing day-to-day direction and performance management.
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure operational continuity and minimise downtime.
- Manage shift planning, workload allocation, and resource optimisation.
- Drive performance against safety, operational, and capacity KPIs.
- Coordinate and manage external maintenance contractors and service providers.
- Oversee preventative maintenance programmes for equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reporting.
- Support operator training on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Manage facility-related activities including building maintenance, landlord liaison, and fleet management.
- Oversee the maintenance and servicing of material handling equipment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimisation, and reduced equipment downtime.
- Promote and embed Maersk's values, safety culture, and operational standards across the team.
We're Looking ForEssential Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance teams.
- Experience in a maintenance, engineering, or facility management role within manufacturing, logistics, industrial, or automotive environments.
- Technical education or qualification in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience maintaining machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering drawings.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience implementing operational improvements and new processes.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and fire regulations.
- English language skills.
Desirable
- SAP experience.
- Experience managing material handling equipment and warehouse facilities.
- Facility management experience within a logistics or distribution environment.
