Job Description: Electronic Security Systems Real Estate Project Manager (12-Month FTC) - London

Position Title: ESS Real Estate Project Manager

Reporting To: BRT Head of Security

Contract Duration: 12 months

Role Purpose

The ESS Real Estate Project Manager is accountable for the successful execution of multiple, concurrent real estate projects involving the deployment of EY Global Security enterprise access control and CCTV systems (CCURE & Victor). This position is pivotal in ensuring timely project completion, adherence to technical standards and seamless coordination among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for CCURE & Victor electronic security systems, encompassing vendor engagement and selection.
  • Develop technical design specifications for security system implementations.
  • Coordinate installation and integration activities with appointed integrator.
  • Ensure strict compliance with EY minimum baseline standards, Global security policies and all relevant technical requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and facilitate effective communication with stakeholders across Global Technology, Real Estate, contractors, and integrators.
  • Oversee project milestones to guarantee on-time delivery and uphold quality benchmarks.
  • Provide oversight of the installation of security systems, ensuring all works are executed to the highest standard and in accordance with project specifications. Monitor progress on site, proactively addressing any issues that may arise during installation to minimise disruption and maintain project timelines

Required Skills & Experience

  • Extensive and proven experience in project management specifically within the electronic security systems sector, with a strong track record of successfully overseeing the delivery and integration of advanced access control and CCTV platforms in real estate environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of CCURE & Victor systems or comparable enterprise access control and CCTV products.
  • Understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies.
  • Extensive understanding of mobile credential technologies
  • Proficiency in managing RFP processes and overseeing vendor selection.
  • Strong stakeholder management and advanced communication capabilities.
  • Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives across diverse teams and external partners.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks applicable to enterprise security platforms, such as:
    • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – governing the protection and privacy of personal data
    • ISO/IEC 27001 – an international standard for information security management systems (ISMS).
    • SOC 2 (System and Organisation Controls) – focusing on controls relevant to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy of data.

Platform Administration & Operations

  • Supervise configuration, monitor system health, and manage the lifecycle of iSTAR controllers and IP cameras deployed across the estate.
  • Perform regular system audits, diagnose technical issues, and implement firmware or software updates as needed to minimise operational disruptions.
  • Ensure full compliance with GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations, upholding exemplary standards of privacy and regulatory conformity throughout all data handling and system operations.

System Integration & Projects

  • Lead the integration of CCURE 9000 with Victor/VideoEdge and other third-party security solutions to ensure cohesive interoperability and efficient data flow.
  • Plan and deliver system upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, vendors and appointed integrators.
  • Develop and sustain thorough technical documentation, including system design diagrams, configuration records, and detailed user guides.

Infrastructure

Oversee administration of Windows Server environments and Active Directory to facilitate secure and reliable system operations and user access management.

  • Collaborate with network infrastructure teams to establish robust connectivity and effective network segmentation for all security platforms.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure cybersecurity hardening measures are applied and ensure best practices are followed on every platform, reviewing configurations to reduce vulnerabilities and address emerging threats.
