Job Description

Legal Assistant (Emiratisation Role)

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our innovative legal professionals don't just solve problems — we partner with the business to find creative solutions, think holistically, and help drive Deliveroo's mission forward while protecting our company and stakeholders.

We’re looking for a Legal Assistant to join our Dubai team. In this role, you’ll provide vital support to our UAE legal function, ensuring our operations run smoothly while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What You’ll Be Adding

You’ll be joining the UAE Legal team. We are a lean, high-impact group responsible for navigating the regulatory landscape and supporting commercial growth across the Emirates.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Legal team, including preparing, formatting, and filing legal documents and official correspondence.

  • Bilingual Coordination: Act as a key point of contact for translations, ensuring documents and communications are accurately converted between Arabic and English.

  • Document Management: Maintain and organise legal records, contracts, and sensitive documentation to ensure version control and easy retrieval.

  • Process Oversight: Support contract tracking and lifecycle management processes to keep our legal obligations on schedule.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate meetings and prepare materials while liaising with internal departments to facilitate legal requests.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • UAE National status: This is a dedicated Emiratisation role.

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field (or currently pursuing).

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.

  • Organisational Excellence: Proven ability to manage administrative tasks with high attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Growth Mindset: A proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn corporate legal operations (no prior work experience required).
