Job Description
Account Manager - Nottingham
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.
We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Nottingham team. In this role, you’ll help us cultivate relationships with Nottingham's most highly regarded local restaurants, acting as a consultant to help them increase their online sales and scale their business.
Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Regional UK & Ireland team. We are the experts in the local markets we serve, from Brighton to Belfast. This isn't a typical office job; you’ll be a local ambassador for Deliveroo, out on the road meeting partners and driving performance in one of our most significant growth regions.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Nurture top-tier partnerships: Maintain and grow relationships with our leading restaurant partners through high-impact communication, both face-to-face and remotely.
Drive commercial success: Use data analysis and industry knowledge to maximise order volumes and unlock new growth potential for your portfolio.
Negotiate & influence: Lead contract negotiations and define partnership terms that align with both company goals and partner needs.
Optimise operations: Liaise with restaurant and rider operations teams to streamline efficiencies and improve the partner experience.
Innovate & lead: Act as the face of Deliveroo in the Nottingham restaurant industry, presenting new ideas to accelerate growth and marketing reach.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Proven relationship management: Significant experience (ideally 2+ years) in account management or a similar commercial role.
Commercial & analytical acumen: A strong understanding of business metrics and the ability to use data to drive results and successful negotiations.
Autonomy & drive: A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and stay organised while travelling across the Nottingham area.
Communication skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport face-to-face, over the phone, and via email.
Mobility: A valid driving licence and access to a car is preferred, as you will be frequently visiting partners on-site.
Given our diverse range of restaurant partners, we would love to hear about any additional language skills—particularly in Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, or Bahasa/Malay.
Why Join Us?
At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:
