Job Description

Account Manager - Wales

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Bristol team. In this role, you’ll help us cultivate relationships with Wales’ most highly regarded local restaurants, acting as a critical consultant to help them increase their online sales and reach new heights.

Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Regional UK & Ireland team. We are the experts in the local markets we serve, and this role is a key part of our growth strategy for Wales. This is not a typical office job; you’ll be out on the road, serving as the face of Deliveroo and building genuine partnerships across the region.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Nurture strategic relationships: Maintain and grow partnerships with our top-tier restaurant partners through strong communication, both face-to-face and remotely.

  • Drive commercial performance: Use data analysis and industry knowledge to maximise order volume and unlock growth potential for your portfolio.

  • Negotiate & influence: Lead contract negotiations and define partnership terms that deliver long-term value for both Deliveroo and our partners.

  • Optimise operations: Collaborate with restaurant and rider operations teams to improve efficiency and the overall experience for our three-sided marketplace.

  • Be the local expert: Serve as a regional ambassador, staying ahead of industry trends and presenting innovative ideas to accelerate our growth in Wales.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

  • Proven relationship management: Significant experience (2+ years) in account management, relationship management, or a similar commercial environment.

  • Commercial & analytical acumen: A strong ability to understand and use data to drive results and support successful negotiations.

  • Autonomy & drive: A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while out meeting partners across different areas of Wales.

  • Excellent communication: Strong rapport-building skills, whether face-to-face, over the phone, or via email.

  • Mobility: A valid driving licence and access to a car is preferred, as you will be frequently travelling to visit partners on-site.

Given our diversity of cuisines, we value additional language abilities—particularly in Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, or Bahasa/Malay.

Why Join Us?

At Deliveroo, you’ll do work that matters, solving real-world problems in a three-sided marketplace that’s constantly evolving. We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community builders and more, brought together by a shared drive to make things better. Working here you can expect to:

🔧 Make a visible impact every day Your work directly improves experiences for customers, partners and riders.
