Job Description

Account Manager - North East & Yorkshire

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Leeds team. In this role, you’ll help us cultivate relationships with the city's most highly regarded local restaurants, acting as a consultant to help them increase their online sales and maximise their potential.

Get to know our Commercial team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Regional UK & Ireland team. This team is responsible for driving performance across all four nations, acting as local experts in the markets we serve to unlock one of the biggest growth opportunities available to Deliveroo.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Strategic Partnership Management: Maintain and grow relationships with our top restaurant partners through high-impact communication, both face-to-face and remotely.

  • Performance Consulting: Drive restaurant growth by using data analysis and industry knowledge to maximise order volume and identify new opportunities.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and partnership terms to ensure long-term value for both Deliveroo and our partners.

  • Operational & Marketing Collaboration: Liaise with restaurant, rider, and marketing teams to improve efficiencies and accelerate order growth.

  • Local Market Expertise: Act as the face of Deliveroo in Leeds, staying deeply connected to the local restaurant industry to innovate and present new growth ideas.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential

  • Proven Relationship Management: Significant experience in account management or a similar commercial role, with a track record of achieving targets.

  • Commercial & Data Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with the ability to comfortably interpret and use data to drive business decisions.

  • Autonomy & Drive: A self-starter who thrives working independently "on the road" and meeting partners in their own environments.

  • Effective Communication: Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders across various channels, from face-to-face meetings to remote calls.

  • Mobility: A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, as this role requires travel across the region rather than being a traditional office-based position.

Nice to Have

  • High-Growth Experience: Prior experience working within a dynamic, fast-paced technology or startup environment.

  • Multilingual Skills: We value diversity in our partners; any proficiency in languages such as Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Urdu, or others is a plus.
