Solution Architect

We operate a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, please only apply if you are comfortable with this arrangement.

Must hold or be able to achieve SC-level Security Clearance.

About the role

Join our growing Solution Architecture team, where you'll play a key role in designing secure, resilient and innovative technology solutions for complex customer environments.

Working closely with customers, technical specialists and delivery teams, you'll help shape end-to-end solutions that deliver real business value.

This is an excellent opportunity to influence technical strategy, collaborate across multiple disciplines and support the delivery of critical transformation programmes.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead requirements workshops to understand customer needs and translate them into solution architectures.
• Partner with WAN, LAN and Security specialists to develop integrated end-to-end solutions.
• Deliver technical leadership across programmes, ensuring designs align with customer objectives and architectural standards.
• Support the design and deployment of network, connectivity and data centre solutions within complex environments.
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, building confidence and understanding.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Experience in Telecommunication and connectivity systems, including enterprise networking and service provider environments.
• Ability to understand business requirements and turn them into practical solution designs and this goes hand in hand with
• Ability to create clear design documents, proposals and recommendations.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly.

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience designing enterprise WAN, LAN and security solutions.
• Background in network engineering, technical support, network design or solution design.
• Experience supporting data centre transformation or infrastructure modernisation programmes.
• Knowledge of working within highly regulated or security-conscious environments.
• Existing Security Clearance or experience working on security-cleared programmes.
