About The Role:

To manage and administer security technologies for BT and its Global customers.

Provide Level 2 technical support on Security Technologies like Firewalls, Proxies, load balancer, Cloud security.

Customer facing role for security operational teams having hands-on experience for Level 2 technical support on Security Technologies like Firewalls, Proxies, load balancer, Cloud security and support on IT Security based services to a specified group of external global/corporate customers encompassing Change and Incident Management, Customer services, enquiries, fault diagnosis/resolution and problem management.

Role Accountabilities:

• Form an integral part of 24*7 rota to provide security in-life support
• Be a Subject Matter Expert for technology & customer infrastructure network

• Triage, Review, and implement security specific changes in line with Customer security policies and change control processes.
• Identifying areas of Service Improvement Program (SIP) for key clients and reducing incidents
• Review code upgrade and test implement before rolling on to production
• Review documentation Recognizes successful intrusions and compromises through review and analysis of relevant event detail information
• To provide reactive incident support via NGSD/SNOW , attending customer troubleshooting calls, providing detailed analysis and fixing issues within contractual obligation and SLA
• Adhere to change and incident management process. Represent on CAB for complex technical issues
• Drive new product launches & technology training
• To ensure that all agreed communication, notification, updates are delivered in timely manner

Mentoring and supporting colleagues with knowledge sharing on issues, technology platform

Skills required:

Mandatory: Hands-on experience in operation and management of security infrastructure.

1. Minimum Troubleshooting experience of 4 years of experience on following products/technologies

1. Cloud Security solutions like Zscaler, Prisma, Illumio & Cisco Umbrella
2. Checkpoint (GAiA, SPLAT, VSX), Cloud Guard
3. Next generation Palo Alto
4. Cisco Firepower/FTD
5. Fortinet Virtual/Appliance
6. IPS, Web Application Firewalls
7. SASE Products

• Implementation and operation support experience on F5 LTM,GTM, ASM,AFM
• Zscaler, Symantec Cloud proxy solutions
• Understanding of Identity and Access management solution like Forescout, Beyond trust, Okta, CyberArk, Cisco ISE
• IPS policy management, signature fine tuning.
• Ability to provide Tier 2 support and manage complex and escalated tickets
• Knowledge of device health monitoring tools and systems
• Stakeholder management and ability to work under pressure
