About the role

As a QA Engineering Specialist, you make sure Corporate Units tools are tested and deployed to a high standard for our customers. You do this by providing technical expertise and software testing skills to assist our customers and stakeholders in the successful consumption and deployment of releases. You organise work and resources to achieve your goals. You also contribute to the wider team’s success and get involved with judicious elements of the team.

What you’ll be doing

Leadership and Team Management:
o Lead and mentor a team of automation testers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities.
o Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and goals.
o Transmit project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
o Build and maintain the infrastructure and practices for the ML engineering team in collaboration with the central IT
o Ability to represent data driven root-cause analysis and remediation reports to senior management
o Estimates QA effort, prepares and owns QA and release schedules
o Makes practical trade-offs between time, resources, and testing levels
o Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for testing
o Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
o Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align testing activities with project goals
Test Automation:
o Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites.
o Develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks
o Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
o Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
o Stay up-to-date on the latest test automation technologies and best practices.
Performance Testing:
o Conduct performance and load testing to evaluate system behavior under stress and identify potential bottlenecks
o Utilize performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner to simulate user load and traffic patterns
o Analyze performance reports and identify areas for optimization

Essential Skills / Experience

• Good Software testing experience, preferably in telecoms, definitely in complex environment
• Excellent communication in English (verbal and written) interpersonal skills
• Action oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and should have high capability in driving issues to fix
• Experienced in Building and implementing QA automation frameworks on BDD, Selenium and Python
• Thorough understanding of performance tools such as JMeter/Blazemeter, Grafana, K6 etc.
• Experienced in API testing using Postman, XML,REQUEST Library, REST and SOAP
• Experience in using different tools related to test management
• Hands on experience in Agile/Scrum
• Strong fundamentals in CI/CD processes and environments
• AI/Gen AI hands-on experience in testing using Agentic AI, LLM model implementation etc

Desirable Skills / Experience

• Experience in testing for SaaS products
• Knowledge of SAP ecosystem and Service Now ecosystem
• Experience working on large-scale distributed systems
• Know-how of cloud-based networking
• Experience with data science and Machine Learning tools (R, Python, Tensorflow, Spark, MLFlow etc.)
• Experience using Big Data technologies like Spark, Hive etc.
• Create prototypes and conduct testing to assess the feasibility and performance of Generative AI solutions.
• Explore and preprocess diverse datasets to feed into Generative AI models.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions that use Generative AI models to address specific business challenges within the company
