Job Objectives

Member of the SAP Application Management & Support team at Satair, specializing in onsite support for warehouse operations across the Asia region. Responsibilities include the implementation and support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM), as well as the support of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), including AutoStore solutions.

Act as the key liaison and connector in coordinating with regional teams, business users, to ensure system stability, effective issue resolution through SAP Subject Matter Experts (SAP SMEs) at large, and alignment between business requirements and SAP capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide SME expertise in the areas of inbound and outbound logistic processes, warehouse monitoring, and resource management within SAP EWM, incl. contribution to successful integration with other SAP modules and managing the daily support of the Application Management Services (AMS) partner’s deliveries
  • Drive as project lead in SAP EWM application related projects incl. Autostore and coordination with relevant IT teams and AMS partner:
  • Act as the local lead in managing business user requirements, ensuring clear understanding, prioritization, and translation of business needs into SAP EWM functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP subject matter experts (SMEs) and regional teams to drive effective delivery, facilitate issue resolution, and ensure alignment between business requirements and SAP capabilities.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for Trainers / end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the new SAP EWM system
  • Report current market trends and technologies, proposing those trends to the business that add value to logistics solutions
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager to support operational and business requirements

Outputs

  • Maintain IT enablement of warehouse operational, tactical and strategical business processes. (SAP EWM)
  • Support of and collaborate with stakeholders on customer service processes and deliveries by implementation of SAP EWM
  • Contributing to business continuity by providing IT Support on SAP EWM and ASRS, incl. and Autostore
  • Strong skills in training both trainers and end-users for smooth EWM adoption
  • Strong analysis of market trends and ability to provide summary reports to management
  • Perform as an effective member of SAP global team

Job Requirements

  • Excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to balance and align varying interests of stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably Master’s degree, in engineering, science or related subject preferred
  • SAP EWM skills on high level (preferably a formal certification in SAP EWM)
  • Solid knowledge of other SAP modules in SAP S4Hana
  • Knowledge of Autostore or similar Warehouse technologies
  • Experience in driving changes and minor projects
  • Good analytical skills
