Job Description:

This role requires a senior professional to participate in high-level industrial logistics flow definition, manage complex contracts, and lead substantial process optimization and automation initiatives across the supply chain. He/she will be instrumental in deploying an optimized, end-to-end logistics system and ensuring operational excellence and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Strategy & Deployment:

  • Contribute directly to the definition and deployment of the overall Logistics initiatives.
  • Lead logistics and distribution projects to design the best E2E flow.
  • Define, optimize, and deploy logistics methods and tools in a disruptive way, analyzing impacts on processes like manufacturing engineering, quality, production scheduling, and supply chain.

Logistics Service & Contract Management:

  • Act as Logistics Service Manager to manage and challenge physical logistics activities (quality, time, cost) by integrating all stakeholders (Service providers, Procurement operations, Plant Logistics...).
  • Act as Contract Manager to ensure logistics activities adhere to contract terms and mechanisms, challenging and controlling costs based on contractual agreements.
  • Develop and deploy a harmonized way of working to support operations in contract management aspects.

Process Improvement & Project Management:

  • Perform flow analysis and eliminate non value added activities.
  • Lead & contribute to improvement projects.
  • Perform project management activities.
  • Manage outsourced activities (defining Work Specifications, follow-up of deliverables, etc.).
  • Lead, support, and contribute to the optimization of logistic operations and process improvements.

Stakeholder & Compliance Management:

  • Manage Business & customers’ requirements.
  • Provide expertise & support to Supply & Demand operators on processes & tools.
  • Ensure compliance with processes.
  • Lead, support, and contribute to digital initiatives based on information systems (e.g., visual management, KPIs monitoring).
  • Act as focal point for logistics operations in strategic projects and initiatives, such as ramp-ups and new work packages.

Key Requirements and Skills

Experience & Knowledge

  • Engineering (Industrial, Organization, etc.), or a Degree/Master's in Logistics and Supply Chain. Sufficient and demonstrable experience in logistics roles could be considered equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of E2E Logistics. Experience in manufacturing environment will be taken into consideration. Project & Stakeholder Management (Proven experience required).
  • Advanced proficiency in warehouse design, capacity calculation, picking dimensioning, and knowledge of automation and new technologies and their integration into logistics flows.
  • Minimum [5-7] years of experience in logistics operations, design roles, consulting, or warehouse engineering, with completed projects involving the implementation of layouts and flows.



Technical & Digital

  • Demonstrable experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and design tools (AutoCAD, Visio, or similar).
