About this Role

We are seeking a seasoned cyber security professional to lead the Vulnerability Management domain within our Cyber Defence team. This role is pivotal in enhancing Vodafone’s security posture across global and local entities, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and driving strategic initiatives to reduce cyber risk. The individual will lead a team of experts, manage cross-functional projects, and act as a subject matter expert in security scanning and penetration testing.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct end‑to‑end cyber security risk assessments for third‑party suppliers, from onboarding through contract lifecycle to end of service.
  • Engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders to gather relevant information and determine cyber security risk levels.
  • Track, manage, and follow up on supplier risk reduction and remediation plans.

Develop, implement, and operate supplier cyber security standards, processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Support Vodafone stakeholders in understanding supplier security policies, processes, and assessment outcomes.
  • Maintain integration between supplier cyber security processes and wider enterprise risk management frameworks.
  • Create and maintain supplier security metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide clear visibility of risk and trends.
  • Who you are

    • An individual with 5+ years of experience in third‑party risk management or information security risk management.
    • Knowledgeable in information security principles, controls, and compliance frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001 or similar standards.
    • Experienced in leading or supporting third‑party security assessments, internal audits, and risk management activities.
    • Comfortable working with data to produce clear, accurate reports and presentations for varied audiences.
    • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, influencing, and collaborative problem‑solving across diverse teams and cultures.
