Role Purpose

Lead the design, governance, and execution of the organization’s reward strategy to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with business objectives. The role drives strategic reward initiatives across the organization, enabling attraction, retention, and engagement of top talent, while ensuring financial discipline and compliance with corporate and market standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development, refinement, and implementation of the total rewards strategy in alignment with business and HR priorities.
  • Establish and govern reward frameworks, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency, fairness, and compliance.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Head of Reward & Benefits and senior HR stakeholders on reward-related matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement of reward programs based on market trends, business needs, and workforce insights.
  • Oversee the design and enhancement of compensation structures, salary frameworks, and incentive schemes.
  • Ensure reward programs are competitive, sustainable, and aligned with organizational performance and affordability.
  • Lead the development of innovative reward solutions to support talent attraction, retention, and engagement.
  • Provide final guidance on complex or senior-level job offers to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Lead participation in external salary surveys and benchmarking exercises to ensure accurate market positioning.
  • Interpret market data and provide actionable insights to senior leadership on pay positioning and trends.
  • Maintain deep understanding of industry practices and proactively recommend adjustments to reward strategies.
    • Lead the end-to-end annual reward cycle including salary reviews, bonus planning, and incentive payouts.
    • Oversee the planning, modeling, and governance of salary and bonus budgets in collaboration with Finance and HR stakeholders.
    • Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure effective execution and communication of reward decisions.
    • Own and manage the reward budget, ensuring alignment with financial targets and business plans.
    • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on compensation-related financials to support business decision-making.
    • Manage and coordinate equity-based reward programs (e.g., share plans) in collaboration with Group Reward.
    • Support senior stakeholders on executive reward matters where applicable.
    • Oversee the development of reward dashboards and analytics to support HR and business leaders.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting on compensation changes, workforce movements, and reward metrics.
    • Leverage data insights to influence strategic workforce and reward decisions.
    • Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to drive reward agenda.
    • Act as a key escalation point for complex reward issues and provide expert guidance.
    • Lead and develop the reward team, fostering high performance and continuous capability building.
