What you’ll do
Join the Luxembourg Finance Operations team as Finance Operations Manager and take end-to-end ownership of accounting, compliance and financial governance for Vodafone Procurement Company in Luxembourg. In this role, you will oversee statutory and internal reporting, budgets and forecasts, financial controls and system improvements, while partnering closely with Service Lines, local Finance and Business teams, and Vodafone Group functions.
Beyond ensuring compliance with Group standards and local tax, legal and statutory requirements, you will play a key role in translating new business streams and commercial deals into robust, efficient and scalable Finance Operations processes.
- Own the financial accounting processes, procedures and controls for the entity
- Ensure the integrity of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts, including compliance with SOX controls
- Prepare ad-hoc reporting and board reports for leadership (CFO, CEO and other senior stakeholders)
- Manage the budget and forecast process in partnership with FP&A, business stakeholders, Group Reporting and Group Planning teams
- Manage the statutory audit process and ensure alignment with latest reporting requirements
- Drive the FinOps roadmap for the entity, supporting new business requirements and key transformation projects
- Improve financial reporting capabilities, building efficient processes, leveraging automation and AI
- Build effective partnerships with Finance Service Line teams and SCM Category Managers to support performance, governance and new business opportunities
Who you are
What you bring
- University degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting
- 8+ years of experience in Finance Operations, Controllership and/or Audit within a Big 4 firm
- Strong technical finance expertise, including IFRS, LuxGAAP, financial accounting, controlling and statutory audit
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills
- Analytical mindset, strong collaboration skills and ability to work across teams, functions and geographies
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
Preferred qualifications
- Professional accounting certification
- Experience in the telecommunications or procurement industry
