About this Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations professional to lead Workforce Administration activities, drive operational excellence, enhance employee experience, and ensure high-quality service delivery within agreed service levels. Based in Pune, this role is responsible for leading a team, managing stakeholder relationships, improving processes through automation and digitalisation, ensuring audit readiness, and maintaining compliance with data privacy and governance requirements.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and support HR Operations team members in the delivery of workforce administration processes with a focus on quality, efficiency, and employee experience.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on HR operational transactions and administration activities across the employee lifecycle.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are created, maintained, and regularly updated for all processes.
  • Manage workload and resource allocation to achieve agreed service level targets.
  • Implement and maintain a robust quality framework and support internal and external audit requirements.
  • Manage escalations, deliver timely resolutions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local market stakeholders and business partners.
  • Lead team performance, career development, engagement initiatives, and a positive working environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process re-engineering, automation, and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Support the deployment of global processes, systems, and transformation programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, governance, and control requirements, including GDPR and SOX standards.
  • Maintain and update service partnership agreements where applicable.

Who you are

  • Extensive experience in HR Operations, workforce administration, or shared services environments.
  • Strong people leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to develop, motivate, and support teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including workforce administration, learning and development, resourcing, and reporting processes.
  • Experience delivering process improvement, automation, and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of HR case management and administration platforms.
  • Good understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and integration with related HR systems.
  • Ability to manage quality standards, audits, compliance requirements, and operational risk effectively.
  • Typically 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate degree.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience in service delivery or operational delivery environments preferred.
