About this Role

We are seeking a Unified Communications Operations Engineer to deliver and support robust Unified Communications (UC) services, ensuring high availability, operational excellence, and an outstanding customer experience. This role focuses on incident and change management, service optimisation, automation, and continuous improvement while leveraging data analytics, Power BI reporting, and dashboarding to provide actionable insights that enhance operational performance and support data-driven decision-making. The role is based in Pune and may involve shift-based operations, including night, weekend, and extended support coverage where required.

What you will do

  • Deliver reliable Unified Communications services and support operational stability across voice and collaboration platforms.
  • Manage incidents and changes in accordance with defined processes and service commitments.
  • Resolve reported incidents within agreed service level targets and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
  • Recommend and implement configuration improvements to maintain and enhance platform performance and service quality.
  • Monitor service health, analyse operational trends, and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reports to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external partners to ensure service level and KPI compliance.
  • Participate in technical audits, address identified gaps, and support continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentoring support to first-line operational teams.
  • Contribute to long-term service roadmaps and operational enhancement plans.

Who you are

  • Knowledge of voice technologies, VoIP platforms, networking fundamentals, and Unified Communications services.
  • Understanding of virtualisation technologies and network infrastructure concepts.
  • Experience with scripting or programming for automation and operational efficiency.
  • Good understanding of SIP protocol and related communication technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills across geographically distributed teams.
  • Experience in service operations, incident management, change management, and continuous improvement activities.
