You will join the team that is dedicated to evolving operations to meet the demands of running the Services networks and applications. You will be part of the Corporate Services team, focused on developing solutions that drive the success of Vodafone’s Intelligent Network Services and Platforms. You will be innovative and be part of cross-functional activities with partners in planning, performance, testing, and deploying. Responsible for incident and problem management and develop software solutions with an emphasis on continuous operational improvement and efficiency.

What you’ll do

  • Provide service monitoring to ensure service is performing as expected and develop KPIs to measure and monitor service performance and control;
  • Manage Incident and Problem: Perform root-cause analysis in production environments. Manage incident and problems with all stakeholders and provide temporary or long-term solutions;
  • Change and configuration: Plan, test and deploy major and minor changes of live network according to agreed SLA to deliver business requirements and needs;
  • Work as part of cross-functional and multi-market teams to improve and support the development of high quality and resilient services;
  • Improve operational processes and achieve efficiency through automation;
  • Work as part of a project team embracing difference methodologies and show resilience to adapt and lead the effort to achieve targets or transform the way we do operations.

Who you are

  • Science degree in computer science or equivalent;
  • Good understanding of unified communications and high availability services;
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in multi-vendor and multi-market environments;
  • Proficiency in managing and resolving major incidents, including coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders;
  • Experience in IMS architecture and protocols (SIP, Diameter, HTTP, INAP, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, ISDN, etc);
  • Understanding and experience in working with cloud technologies;
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in service assurance;
  • Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Experience in leading technical projects and ability to handle multiple works including network integration;
  • Support and contribute to the implementation of AI/ML-powered tools for diagnostics and performance monitoring;
  • Experience leading technical projects and teams in telecom or network operations;
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of RedHat/Linux environment and most common databases, particularly executing complex queries;
  • Good knowledge of OneNet service will be valued;
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
