Job Description

We’re looking for a Product Growth Manager – Fortinet to help shape, position and grow our Fortinet-based secure networking portfolio across the UK.

Operating within a UK telco and managed service provider (MSP) environment, you’ll play a key role in driving adoption of Secure SD-WAN, SASE and Zero Trust services across customers ranging from small offices and SMEs through to large enterprise and public sector organisations.

You’ll act as a trusted specialist and connector — working closely with sales, product, engineering and vendor partners to ensure our Fortinet propositions are commercially compelling, technically robust and clearly aligned to customer outcomes.

This role is about enablement, influence, and long-term value creation, rather than direct line management.

Who we are

A new B2B venture. Since bringing Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy together in August, we've created a focused, digital-first B2B business serving customers across small, medium, and large enterprises, as well as the public sector. Powered by our next generation fixed and mobile infrastructure we offer a broad portfolio of best-in-class solutions - including cloud-based communication tools, voice and contact centre offerings and 5G private networks - to provide the Technology that makes every business better.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies in a product, pre-sales, specialist sales or technical advisory role
  • Experience working within a UK telco, MSP or MSSP environment
  • A good understanding of secure networking and managed security services
  • Experience supporting customers from small business through to large enterprise and public sector
  • The ability to explain complex networking and security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience supporting structured sales processes, including bids, tenders and RFPs
  • Strong collaborator management and influencing skills, without formal authority
  • Commercial awareness, including pricing models, service packaging and margin considerations

The other stuff we are looking for

We'd also love you to bring;

  • Knowledge ofSecure SD-WAN, SASE, Zero Trust and cloud-connected security architectures
  • Experience working with public sector or regulated industry customers
  • Familiarity with UK compliance and assurance expectations
  • Fortinet NSE certification

What's in it for you

Our goal is to celebrate our people, their lives and everything in-between. We aim to create a culture that empowers everyone to bring the best versions of themselves to work each and every day. We believe the most inclusive and diverse culture makes for a better business and a brighter world.

Next steps

If we feel like a place where you can belong, we'd love to learn more about you as a person and your experience to date. Once you've submitted an application the next steps of the process, if successful, are likely to include two interview stages:

  • An initial interview focusing on your experience and approach
  • A second-stage interview with key collaborators, exploring the role in more depth

When you apply, you'll be asked about any adjustments you might need to support the recruitment process. Let us know, and we'll be sure to discuss it with you.

Please note: Applications will be reviewed, and interviews conducted throughout the duration of this advert, therefore we may bring the closing date forward. We encourage all interested applicants to apply as soon as possible. If you’re offered a job with us, it will be conditional, based on the passing of background checks. All roles require a criminal record check and some roles need a financial probity check. Your recruiter can provide you with more information if needed.

Thanks for your patience and for showing an interest in joining the Virgin Media O2 family.
