What you Build

  • Foster an environment of innovation, learning, and development amongst team members, driving both a continuous improvement mindset and showcasing innovation in deliverables.
  • Take full product development responsibility for backend development, including processes, methods, and tools for SAP S/4HANA, with strong ownership of key topics.
  • Collaborate deeply with Product Owners, Product Managers, Designers, and Software Architects to design and architect solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements, emphasizing security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Champion the use of modern development technologies and techniques to guarantee top-quality results aligned with cloud standards.
  • Lead efforts to integrate GenAI technologies and architectural patterns—including LLMs and AI-augmented development tools—into S/4HANA solutions.
  • Play an integral role throughout the entire software development lifecycle; drive technical excellence and innovation in statutory reporting and compliance solutions.
  • Model a growth mindset: actively pursue learning opportunities and adapt to emerging development practices, especially those related to generative AI, LLMs, and future software technologies.
  • Contribute to and influence the team’s success as a collaborative, communicative, and culturally aware team player.
  • Communicate effectively with local and remote team members and stakeholders.

What you Bring

  • Graduate / Post-Graduate degree in Engineering or equivalent domain.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in software development (preferably with S/4HANA full-stack development).
  • Deep expertise in software design principles, UML modelling, and object-oriented design.
  • Advanced proficiency in ABAP, OOABAP, Data Dictionary, Function Module BAPIs, ALV and OOALV.
  • Excellent knowledge of OData & CDS, BOPF, SQL, HANA, SADL, and RAP.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed version control systems such as GIT (added advantage).
  • Experience in Output Management and BRF+ (added advantage), plus Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Functional or process knowledge of Financials, SAP UI5, and Fiori is desirable.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and debugging ability.
  • Ability to work in and lead culturally diverse environments.
  • Understanding of GenAI solutions, their architectural integration points with SAP S/4HANA, and familiarity with practical uses of LLMs, generative AI, and AI-augmented developer tools as they transform enterprise software.
  • Commitment to learning, with openness to adopting new technologies and rapid shifts in development practices—especially within AI and automation domains.
  • Ability to evaluate, adopt, and evangelize innovative AI practices, fostering an adaptive and forward-looking development culture.
