Company Description

Job Description

What you'll bring

You have extensive experience leading complex, high-visibility HR transformation programs in global or multi-business-unit environments. Deep expertise in program management, cultural change leadership, change management, HR transformation, stakeholder management, and executive communication is required. You are a skilled communicator who can navigate senior stakeholder landscapes with confidence — translating complex program realities into clear narratives for executive audiences while building trust and alignment across diverse functions.

A proven track record of shifting organizational mindsets and behaviors at scale is essential: you understand that adopting skills-led ways of working is as much a cultural undertaking as a technology rollout, and you know how to design and sustain that shift. Strong data literacy and the ability to make data-driven decisions — tracking adoption, reporting on program impact, and using evidence to course-correct — are expected.

A high AI affinity, meaning the genuine ability to integrate AI tools into daily work, identify automation opportunities, and drive AI adoption within your team, is essential. You balance strategic thinking with operational rigour. Familiarity with skills management, skills taxonomy frameworks, workforce analytics, or consulting is a strong plus, but not a prerequisite.

What you'll build

You'll lead the Skills DNA program — SAP's initiative to become a skills-led organization — managing the end-to-end delivery of a complex, multi-workstream transformation program across HR, CPIT, and business stakeholders globally. Core responsibilities include:

  • Program governance: Defining and maintaining program structures, integrated plans, risk and dependency frameworks, milestone tracking, and executive reporting across all workstreams.
  • Workstream coordination: Aligning delivery across skills taxonomy governance, job architecture, Growth Portfolio integration, SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub rollout, and adoption and communications.
  • Cultural change and adoption: Designing and leading a sustained cultural change strategy that moves SAP employees, managers, and HR partners from role-based to skills-led thinking. This means building a compelling program narrative, enabling and activating change champions across the organization, designing targeted engagement formats for different audiences, and measuring cultural shift — not just system usage.
  • Stakeholder management: Managing relationships with senior HR leaders, business partners, CPIT, and SuccessFactors product teams. Ensuring cross-functional alignment, surfacing and resolving dependencies, and keeping senior stakeholders informed and engaged through clear, decision-ready communications and executive presentations.
  • Vendor management: Overseeing relationships with external implementation partners, consultants, and tooling vendors — ensuring delivery against milestones, quality expectations, and program objectives.
  • Adoption tracking: Using data and adoption metrics to assess program impact, identify where behavioral change is and isn't taking root, and continuously improve delivery based on evidence.
  • AI integration: Embedding AI-assisted workflows into program operations and supporting the broader AI adoption agenda within People & Culture.

Where you belong

You'll act as the program backbone of SAP's Skills DNA initiative within the Organizational Growth & Health function, reporting into the Head of Skill Management and AI Workforce Enablement. The team relies on you to bring structure, rigor, and momentum to one of SAP's most strategically significant internal HR transformation programs — and to be the person who makes the cultural shift to skills-led working real and lasting for SAP's global workforce.

You serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on program strategy, navigating complexity, resolving escalations, and ensuring that delivery confidence remains high across all functions involved.

Skills-led adoption will be one of the defining challenges of the next two years at SAP: the technology will be ready, and hearts, habits, and mental models need to follow. You'll collaborate closely with the SuccessFactors product team, IT, all relevant HR functions, and our Organizational Growth & Health leadership. If you're energized by that challenge — and by leading transformational HR programs at enterprise scale at a company that is simultaneously the customer and the builder of the technology you're implementing — this is the right level.
