The Role
As a Business Development Representative at Redgate, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospective customers. You’ll learn about their business challenges, understand the pressures in database development, and help shape conversations that challenge the status quo. You’ll manage the full acquisition cycle, including lead management, research, qualification, and early-stage customer support. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across the organisation to achieve shared goals.

What makes you the next Business Development Representative at Redgate?
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
• Ability to create a strong first impression and deliver an excellent prospect and customer experience.
• Willingness to partner with Account Executives to build pipeline and develop your skills.
• Motivation to research and build relationships with new and existing clients (adding contacts, sending outreach, making strategic calls).
• Confidence in having high-level conversations with senior executives.
• Ability to travel to client and marketing events when needed.
Nice to have:
• CRM experience.
• Inside sales or business acquisition background.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and match them to appropriate solutions.
• Self-starter with a track record of achieving goals.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across phone, email, social, and video.
• General understanding of the IT industry, with an ability to learn products and solutions quickly.

Salary & Transparency (Berlin)
For this role, the expected salary range is €48,000–€52,000 base, depending on experience, with an OTE of approximately €60,000. Redgate provides this range in line with EU and German pay transparency requirements. We determine compensation using objective, role‑related criteria such as skills, experience, responsibilities and market alignment.
