The Opportunity

There is currently a brilliant opportunity for a Technical Director ICT to join us in Singapore. The successful candidate will be involved in providing the solutions architecture, building ICT systems for a large building and infrastructure project in Singapore. It is an exciting opportunity to work on a career-defining and nation-building project like this.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Provide high value consultancy to customers at the enterprise, programme, and project level
  • Lead technical teams to develop the Enterprise Architecture considering Business, Systems, Data & Technology Architectures, and the subsequent Solutions Architecture.
  • Engage clients and their stakeholders to communicate and explain the proposed architectures and solutions, in a way that ensures their buy in and agreement.
  • Manage development of designs to a schedule, managing interdependencies, interfaces and decision making, whilst working within the contracted scope of work.
  • Contribute to the develop of the solutions and strategies for clients, through the analysis of the business objectives, required capabilities and future trends.
  • Develop roadmaps to set out the approach to achieve the business objectives.
  • Gathering of the business, user, and technical requirements for key operational systems, and support their subsequent specification, procurement, delivery and go live.
  • Undertake Solution/Technology Evaluation to assess the best fit solutions to meet different capabilities.
  • Consideration of Cyber protections required for systems.
  • Facilitate the development of Data Architecture and the definition of interfaces.
  • Manage outstanding delivery of our projects to clients.
  • Develop trusted relationships with our clients and support the growth of our business by leading and contributing to development of proposals.
  • Support service and people development to help grow and develop our business and team.

About You:

  • Relevant qualifications in Engineering, ICT, IT, Computing etc.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ICT, smart buildings etc within the buildings/engineering consulting/infrastructure industry
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills to interact and collaborate with a wide range of people.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering projects
  • Familiarity with compliance, governance, and risk management within engineering projects.
